Today could be an explosive day in Washington DC as Ninety Republicans have committed to objecting to electoral votes during the joint session of Congress on Jan. 6 according to an Epoch Times tally.
Congress, as well as millions of disenfranchised voters, are convening this morning in Washington DC. The house is set to count ballots sent by state electors, under the Electoral College system. Congress will determine who is president-elect based on the votes assuming Pence doesn’t send the results back.
Unless you’ve been in a coma for the last few months you probably at least have a vague idea of what’s going on. Many democrats believe today will be the end of the “baseless” election fraud allegations and that Biden will be certified as the winner, but it looks like there will be objections from at least 13 senators and a host of republicans backing them.
How does that work? These objections must be in writing and have the support of at least one senator and one representative. An objection triggers a withdrawal from the joint session and a two-hour debate, followed by a vote. A majority vote in each chamber votes upholds an objection, which would nullify the contested electoral votes. This means the folks who have been warning of election fraud will get their day in court in a very public and televised way, assuming the media has an interest in showing the people both sides of the controversy.
A candidate must reach 270 electoral votes to win. If neither candidate does, a secondary system is triggered wherein each state’s representatives combine in one vote to elect the next president. The Senate would do the same for the vice president.
Nancy Pelosi and fellow Democrats say Biden has already won the election. Trump and others assert the election isn’t over.
Trump this week signaled he’d continue challenging the election even if they steamroll the whole thing and Biden is certified the winner by Congress.
“That was a rigged election, but we’re still fighting it and you’ll see what’s going to happen,” he said at a rally in Georgia.

We have never seen anything like Texas v. Pennsylvania in the history of the Supreme Court. A very large group of red states has lined up behind Texas, and a very large group of blue states is backing the other side. I cannot recall another Supreme Court case in which so many states have sought to be involved on some level, and so to me it would be unthinkable for the Supreme Court to try to slap this suit away as if it was insignificant. The U.S. Constitution gives the Supreme Court original jurisdiction over controversies between states, and so if the Supreme Court is not willing to properly deal with the grievances that the red states have there is no other place for them to go.
I believe that the Supreme Court is going to handle this case with the seriousness that it deserves, and that means that we are about to witness an absolutely epic legal battle between red states and blue states.
In an article that I published yesterday, I explained that the Court had required the states of Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and Georgia to file their responses by Thursday at 3 PM, and that is precisely what happened.
But a whole bunch of other parties decided to get involved in this case as well. The following are all of the updates that were posted on the Supreme Court website on Thursday alone…
Motion of State of Ohio for leave to file amicus brief not accepted for filing. (December 10, 2020) (corrected motion electronically filed)
Response to motion for leave to file bill of complaint and motion for preliminary injunction and temporary restraining order or stay from defendant Wisconsin filed.

Amicus brief of Ga. state Sen. William Ligon et al. submitted.
Motion of L. Lin Wood for leave to file amicus brief submitted.
Motion of Steve Bullock, in his official capacity as Governor of Montana for leave to file amicus brief submitted.
I have never seen a flurry of activity like this for any other Supreme Court case.
As you look over that list, you will see that there are all sorts of big names on there and nearly all states are represented in at least some capacity.
But there is one huge name that is completely missing.
For some reason, Joe Biden has decided not to be involved in this case at all.
I think that Joe Biden’s lawyers are telling him that it would give the case credibility if they got involved and they don’t want to do that.
But to me, this is a major tactical mistake on their part. If Texas wins this case, Joe Biden will probably not be the one sitting in the Oval Office for the next four years. With so much on the line, if I was a presidential candidate I would want to make sure that my interests were being represented properly in this case.
In any event, this case is moving forward, and the outcome will make history no matter which way it goes.
Needless to say, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and Georgia are very upset about the suit that Texas has filed. In fact, Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro went so far as to call the suit a “seditious abuse of the judicial process”…
The Pennsylvania AG’s office described the Texas suit as a crass political maneuver to extend Trump’s term.
‘Texas’s effort to get this Court to pick the next President has no basis in law or fact. The Court should not abide this seditious abuse of the judicial process, and should send a clear and unmistakable signal that such abuse must never be replicated,’ they urged.
Of course that is a bunch of nonsense.
As I detailed yesterday, Texas is alleging very serious violations of the Electors Clause and the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment in all four states, and the evidence clearly shows that those constitutional violations did indeed take place.
Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and Georgia would have us believe that Texas and other red states were not harmed by these constitutional violations, and they would have us believe that the Supreme Court could not possibly take any action even if there were constitutional violations because that would “disenfranchise” millions of voters.
But it wouldn’t disenfranchise those voters if the Court ordered new elections in those four states, and that is what I believe is the appropriate remedy in this case.
I know that is a minority viewpoint, but I am sticking with it.
On Thursday, the District of Columbia, 20 blue states, the Virgin Islands and Guam filed an amicus brief in support of Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and Georgia.
An amicus brief had already been filed by a coalition of red states on Wednesday, and on Thursday six of them actually asked the court to allow them to become co-plaintiffs…
Missouri on Wednesday led a group of 17 states in filing a brief that supported the Texas lawsuit, which alleges that the four key swing states that voted for President-elect Joe Biden violated the Constitution by having their judicial and executive branches make changes to their presidential elections rather than their legislatures.
But the Thursday filing led by Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt, which also includes Arkansas, Utah, Louisiana, Mississippi and South Carolina, would make those states parties before the court in the case rather than just outside voices weighing in. President Trump’s campaign did the same on Wednesday.
Subsequently, 106 Republican members of the House of Representatives filed an amicus brief in support of Texas.
That has got to carry a lot of weight with the Court.
At this point, the Court is essentially boxed into a corner. If they throw this case aside very quickly, that will cause a massive uproar on the right.
But if they actually allow oral arguments and give this case the attention that it deserves, that will cause a massive uproar on the left.
Whatever they do, about half the country is going to be exceedingly angry.
And if Texas v. Pennsylvania ultimately results in Trump winning the election, we will witness a national temper tantrum that will shake our nation to the core.
Historically, the Supreme Court likes to try to find an easy way out, and they may be very tempted to try to dispose of this case very quickly.
But that wouldn’t solve anything. I think that it is a very ominous sign that there is so much open animosity between red states and blue states now. Just like we witnessed prior to the Civil War, states are picking one side or the other, and talk of secession is starting to pick up steam. In fact, it was the top headline on the Drudge Report on Thursday morning.
And if the Supreme Court ignores the clear constitutional violations that occurred during this election, that will only make things a lot worse.
As Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton stated in his complaint, either we have a Constitution or we don’t.
That is what Texas v. Pennsylvania is really all about, and in a few days we will have a clear answer to that question.

It’s Election night 2020 and the atmosphere is tense, rightfully so as the stakes have never been higher. We have Pop-culture’s favorite boogeyman Donald Trump vs career politician and scandal rife Joe Biden. The country’s fate hangs in the balance, and if America falls the rest of the world will follow.
At first, the east coast lights up blue; Florida, Pennsylvania and even Texas start off in Bidens favor to the surprise of many. Naturally, the mainstream outlets like FOX and CNN begin calling states for Biden way ahead of time. The psychological implications of these actions are completely neglected. By 9:00 PM Trump is ahead of Biden in electoral votes 129 to 115. Trump eventually wins Florida and closes the gap in Texas. Most states began to shift in Trump’s favor, The great Red Wave was now upon us.
For a while the numbers stay in Trump’s favor, but the mail-in ballot business we’ve been hearing about all year could be a real mess. We’ve already reported on certain individuals planning a coup in DC on the 5th, there’s almost an air of understanding that Trump will win but the ensuing temper tantrum will be ugly. At the same time, we’ve seen reports that the National Guard is being mobilized in multiple states, I assume this is to squash unrest. The first four years Trump and the patriots were playing defense, I think they are now about to go on the offensive.
At 11 pm Trump is dominating the map. Biden’s path to victory is through California, Rhode Island, and Virginia (or whatever states decide to flip blue via mail-in ballots). Trump is winning by over 2 million in the popular vote but I believe it will be by an even larger margin if somehow we manage to get honest numbers. Nevada is a mystery as of yet, but democrats have allowed republicans to take it in the past.
Several states have suddenly stopped counting. Shenanigans spread to Georgia where they are saying things will not be decided tonight, it is likely going to be the same deal in Pennsylvania. By 11:11 Biden had officially taken the west coast, as expected. The great Californian Stockholm syndrome prevails once again. The numbers shift, now in Biden’s favor, he’s holding on to 205 electoral votes and 51% of the popular vote. I’m envisioning the target of the establishment’s election night fallout will be North Carolina, Pennsylvania and MAYBE Georgia though Georgia is going to have to turn up quite a lot of mail in ballots to close that void. Maybe Michigan will be one of the victims of the mail in flip, we’ll have to see.
The closer we get to the finish line the mind wanders toward the imminent threat of civil unrest. Pallets full of bricks have been popping up all over DC. It’s already been decided that the discontent will gather in “BLM plaza” with the intent to “take over government buildings”. The deep-stank actors with their media and big-tech accomplices have created a cult of personality and weaponized it against the duly elected president. Many are still heavily under the spell, and the longer they stay there the more entrenched they become. The same could be said about the Trump crowd of course, but the policies speak for themselves.
Around 2 AM they officially stopped counting in the final 9 states until they’ve plucked enough Biden votes from the aether to flip the needed states blue. Most liberals will accept this outcome as god’s honest truth while many moderates and conservatives have been expecting the Mail-in fraud since early spring and beyond.
Trump tweets out that he will be making a statement, which twitter promptly begins to censor. He arrived at the podium in strange spirits, perhaps it was the late/early hour that explained his weariness or perhaps the shame/disappointment of what has taken place, he seemed tired but still determined. In typical Trump fashion he called it what it was: blatant voter fraud, and announced that they will be taking it to the supreme court.
Around 5:30 am est., Biden FOUND 137K votes passing Trump and flipping WI blue. I’m certain Trump anticipated voter harvesting – maybe not this obviously and bluntly – but it happened.
The Days Following Election Night
The morning brought no clarity. The stress of the whole debacle was enough to make the entire country take up smoking.
Despite this seemingly hopeless situation, some Trump supports recalled that he spoke many times of election fraud. Surely he had some way to deal with what he knew was likely to be the most rigged election in history. Their hopes would not go unanswered.
Something in Wisconsin and Michigan was beginning to stink to high heavens, a sudden surge in Biden votes came in all at once around 4-5 AM EST.
A woman monitoring the ballot counting in Detroit has asserted that at least 130,000 ballots, all for Joe Biden, were brought to the center in three vehicles at 4 a.m. In the testimonial, originally posted to Facebook Live, Connie Johnson says that people who were there counting ballots throughout the evening were ready to shut down when suddenly a white van, a Chrysler 300 and a Ferrari, pulled up with over 130,000 additional ballots. “As they started counting the ballots, he was astonished that every single ballot, literally 100 percent of 130,000 ballots, were all Biden ballots that hadn’t been delivered to the precinct before the cut off time,” she explained.
He had a sizable lead in Wisconsin and Michigan but this morning Sleepy Joe somehow took the lead. Overnight Wisconsin had a huge dump of votes all for Biden, notice the blue line below:
Pretty convenient they were able to find just enough all at once to close the gap.
The internet didn’t let this clearly questionable rise in votes for Biden go unnoticed. Within hours, viral images began to surface.
In the days following the election many instances of voter fraud began to spill out, mostly reported by Local and Independent media as the Mainstream apparently has their marching orders and are likely complicit. The same media that claimed Trump was an “illegitimate President” due to Russian Collusion says that claims of election fraud are conspiracy theories, often using typical strawman tactics wherein the real claims are misconstrued and debunked—while never citing valid claims.
We know from the infamous laptop that not only did the Biden family have financial ties to the country but also China very easily has all of the information on the laptop to blackmail the family while occupying the Whitehouse. Make no mistake, the Biden family has every reason to be beholden to China, it also just so happens that we know China has the ability to print these ballots. No one can say for certain that what we’re implying is true, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t worth considering. It’s mathematically impossible that hundreds of thousands of unaccounted ballots would suddenly show up 100% in favor of Biden.
What’s particularly interesting is that the democratic lawyer Mark Elias who was pushing “vote by mail” also pushed the phony Russian dossier in 2016. He is also responsible for hiring the extremely shady Fusion GPS, works for the Perkins Coie law firm in Washington, and has previously represented Hillary Clinton.
All the speculation and coincidence in the world could never stand up without some sort of verifiable truth. Fortunately, there seems to be no shortage of evidence supporting voter fraud in multiple states.
Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger made an interesting statement saturday evening:
“Fulton County has discovered an issue involving reporting from their work on Friday. Officials are at State Farm Arena to rescan their work from Friday. The Secretary of State has a monitor onsite, has sent additional investigators, and dispatched the Deputy Secretary of State as well to oversee the process to make sure to thoroughly secure the vote and protect all legal votes. Observers from both political parties are there as well.”
The New York Times on Tuesday evening said Trump has an 83% chance of winning Georgia.
A burst pipe has slowed the counting of absentee-by-mail ballots in the Georgia county that includes Atlanta by four hours — likely ruining any hope that the state’s election results will be known on Tuesday night.
No ballots were damaged in the mishap in Fulton County, which is home to a tenth of all Georgians, officials told the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
The water pipe burst happened in a procession center at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, the report said.
“There was a pipe that burst in the room where we actually had ballots; thank goodness that none of those ballots were damaged,” county election official Dwight Brower told the paper.
Results will now “be later than what we would like it to be,” another election official told the paper.
Meanwhile, there are at least 21,000 dead people on the state of Pennsylvania’s voter rolls, according to an amended lawsuit filed on Thursday. A legal foundation known as PILF’s lawsuit claims that Pennsylvania failed to “reasonably maintain” their voter registration records under federal and state law in time for the 2020 presidential election. Was this on purpose?
The significance of thousands of dead voters on the list is that mail-in-ballots were likely sent to these “voters”. This is possibly why several cases, we know about, of dead people voting were reported.
“Indeed, we have initially identified 3,062 voters who moved from Nevada before the election but still cast ballots in this election,” the letter to the Clark County DA read. “We have verified this by cross-referencing the list of general election voters with publicly available change of address records.
“For instance, demographic experts agree that the National Change of Address database only captures about one-third of relocations. Consequently, this number will likely grow by 6,000 voters, at minimum.”
Another area of interest (and hope for those who still love their country) is the “faulty” election software that has been incorrectly awarding votes to Joe Biden in Michigan. This is coming from all-star Journo John Soloman’s independent news dissemination site Just The News:
“The Michigan Secretary of State confirmed on Friday that a software error in Antrim County, Michigan, in which Joe Biden was incorrectly awarded thousands of votes that led him to be declared the county winner, was caused by an error in which the county clerk “did not update the software used to collect voting machine data and report unofficial results.” The software is administered by the company Dominion Voting Systems.”
Strangely enough, the former prosecutor and stalwart attorney for the beloved General Michael Flynn, Sidney Powell called for an investigation into electronic ballot systems which may have changed “3 percent of the vote.” “I think they need to investigate the likelihood that 3 percent of the vote changed [due to] pre-election ballots collected digitally by using the Hammer and Scorecard programs,” she said during the interview.”I think Hammer and Scorecard were used by Democratic operatives who had access through government access points,” she added. “They used them to illegally change votes. It’s been used against other countries. It’s just been changed recently [to be used] against our own citizens.”
General Flynn Makes a Statement
It’s clear that the fate of America, possibly the whole world, rests on the end results of this election. Saturday evening, In what felt like the Patriots darkest hour, National Security Adviser Michael Flynn gave a statement to Newsmax:
“With no proof, we’ve beat this president over his head and shoulders about Russia, Russia, Russia interference in our election and come to find out there’s zero proof of that,” Flynn told “Saturday Report“ in an exclusive interview. “And now all of a sudden we see egregious, egregious levels of behavior and corruption in some states. And these people in these states, they have to be embarrassed.
“So now nobody wants to see if we have election interference? I mean, give me a break.
“Right now, we are at risk,” Flynn added. “This is going to place this country at risk, if we get this wrong.”
“This is bigger than the presidency, I’ll say this is bigger than Donald Trump. This is bigger than Vice President [Joe] Biden. This is much bigger. This is the presidency of the United States of America. It’s the Constitution of the United States of America. It’s a process we’ve had for almost 250 years.”
Flynn, who was the target of the Obama administration during President Donald Trump’s 2016 transition, has seen the grimey underbelly of Washington, D.C., and the implications of big government “corruption.”
“I will tell you what I know and what I’ve seen are the deep-seated, and the deep levels of corruption in our government,” Flynn said. “It’s sad and it’s heartbreaking, but I have seen that, I have observed it, and I know of it.
“What the American people are seeing is we have a problem in Washington, D.C., and Washington, D.C. is not going to fix the problem. The problem will only be fixed by an awake America, of patriots we have seen around the country.”
The election remains too close to call, and Americans – even Democrats – should want to get to the bottom of election malpractices, Flynn said.
“They were about to claim victory last night, up until Justice [Samuel] Alito from the Supreme Court made the ruling in Pennsylvania,” Flynn said of Biden’s campaign. “So, what I would say is you be patient and let’s all be patient here in America.
“The easier path for the current administration would be to just give in. We cannot give in based on what we have seen already, and the evidence that already has been brought to light, particularly this mess up in Michigan and with this Dominion software that’s just outrageous. There has to be an investigation. There has to be a slow down. Everybody has to slow down and take a deep breath.”
“We must now get this process right; if we’re not going to get this process right, then we’re not going to have a country,” Flynn said. What I think we have is an unraveling, and my belief is, the technical side of this election, the electronic voting, there’s probably some problems there, and they’re going to have to find those out. Michigan is one of those examples. When the votes didn’t get to what they needed, now [they] come in with the mail-in ballots. I strongly believe they’re going to find mail-in ballot problems, like we already have seen that were after the fact to get to the numbers to achieve a victory.
“That’s what we don’t need. I pray that I am wrong.”
All this news about the election fraud seems to paint a pretty dark picture. But there’s a silver lining to all this.
The fact is, elections have been manipulated for decades. Dead voters casting ballots in elections is nothing new. You’d think that any voter fraud in an election would be a serious issue that would garner national attention. But it often barely makes the headlines if at all.
However, love him or hate him, Trump is not going quietly into the night. If Trump did lose fair and square, many Americans would likely graciously accept his defeat. But the real issue is that manipulation in our Republic has been happening for so long in so many different ways, it’s become normal to us. Trump is the only POTUS in recent memory to raise the alarm about election fraud or as he put it, “rigged” elections.
Since the US is founded on the principles of Rule of Law and the sacred right of all citizens to vote, a single illegal and fraudulent vote is arguably the most important issue we face as a nation. And yet no one seems to be talking about it—until now.
For the first time in US History, the outright assault on our Republic and the people’s sovereign rights is being addressed by nonother than the POTUS himself. POTUS knew about election fraud in 2016, he spoke about it openly hundreds of times throughout his four years in office, and now, finally, he has overwhelming evidence of fraud.
Alternative media sources have reported that the Intelligence Community aligned with Trump set up was could be the biggest Sting Operation in history, leading the Deep State Dems to believe they could rig yet another election. In fact, in a brilliant stroke Art of War tactics, Trump appeared weak, let the Dems think they had the advantage, only to force them to play their hand in glaring election fraud.
To be clear, we have no official confirmation of what is presented below (source) but the evidence suggesting this might be what’s taking place behind the scenes is mounting
According to Pieczenik, President Trump assumed Democrat tomfoolery would be needed to prevent him from securing a second term via the 2020 election.
In order to ensure the election remained fair, POTUS devised an advanced trap.
Hidden, trackable watermarks were allegedly put onto ballots so they could be verified if necessary.
“This is really a sting operation, contrary to what everyone else said,” Pieczenik explained. “We watermarked every ballot with QFS blockchain encryption code. In other words, we know pretty well where every ballot is, where it went and who has it, so this is not a stolen election.”
Steve also said President Trump has been out of the spotlight of the media over the past few days in order to let the Deep State dig its own grave, politically.
Under the “safeguards” section, the site explains, “Most ballots have proprietary style codes, such as timing marks, code channels, or QR codes. If the codes are not recognized by the voting machines, the ballot is rejected, and an election official manually reviews it.”
What’s more, many believe that authentic ballots might have a Watermark that will help officials determine which vote authentic.
So where’s the hope? I’ll tell you where it’s certainly not: Big Tech platforms and the mainstream news outlets, both of which are complicit in extreme censorship and psychological warfare. It’s a desperate attempt by the Deep-State to seize back control, we’ve seen them do this nonstop for four years. Everything we are witnessing is to be expected, they were never going to just give up and say “OK, arrest us now”.
The good news is that there seems to be enough evidence of voter-fraud to fuel the ongoing litigation at the state and federal levels. Imagine exposing voter fraud of this magnitude, something enormous like this had to happen to grab the public’s attention.
Given the fact Trump et al have been talking about voter fraud and rigged elections since he ran for office, I highly doubt he walked into this election expecting a fair shake out. The most plausible explanation is that Trump and the good guys he works with knew exactly what was going to happen and let the deep state walk into the trap. This means indictments and arrests are coming. When is unclear.
But more than this, which is itself something to really be happy about, the media is digging a huge hole of discredit for itself. And millions of people, that we know of, are finally starting to realize the corruption within our midst. This might be the greatest thing we could have asked for. As a long time researcher of psychology, law, history, and how the engines of control work—which simultaneously reveals how a truly free society needs to work—we the people have been far too complacent. But the fraud being presented as plaining as it is, within the voting system and the complicit media, is “waking the sleeping giant.” If we truly want a free world, one that we can pass on to our children, we have to create a culture of eternal vigilance.
This, my friends, we have the chance to do given the upswell of righteous indignation brewing across the planet. We have a focal point of collective rage that will activate us in a way the powers that should not be are terrified of.
It’s hard to imagine how things could go on as they were after all of this. It’s still early and I’m sure we’ll hear more at the most opportune time. But for now, COVID has taken a backseat to convincing the public Biden has won before states have been decided.
The lawsuits are everything, whatever happens with them will likely decide the outcome. There is unquestionably a psychological aspect to what the mainstream is doing right now but we must not lose our morale.
In closing, I’ll leave off with some hopeful things to consider.
President Trump and the RNC have filed a lawsuit in Arizona over alleged rejected votes in Maricopa County.

The U.S. Postal Service on Saturday said it was aware of election fraud allegations from a Pennsylvania-based postal worker.
The Republican National Committee (RNC) announced on Friday they have set up legal teams in the four battleground states of Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, amid alleged “clear irregularities” in the vote counts for the general election.
No doubt there’ll be significantly positive developments emerging over the next week. Stay tuned for the next edition of Where’s The Hope: Newsletter.
Hope is all around us if we dare to embrace the truth with a whole heart and discerning mind.
We privileged citizens of the western world tend to overlook one another’s character and rely more on our preconceived notions, making judgments based on appearance, lifestyle, even the music each other listen to. You might see a gal rocking a shaved head or a dude with purple hair and think to yourself “Oh they look alternative, they MUST be a liberal”. This may be true for most young folks attaching themselves to things they don’t fully understand, but you might be surprised what some of the actual punk rock pioneers have to say about modern politics.
Many are drawn to the genre out of a desperate desire to fit-in somewhere in a society that feels so broken and stale. The underground (non-mainstream) community emerged as a result of working class angst and the frustrations many youth were feeling about economic inequality, the bourgeois hypocrisy and neglect of working people and their struggles. The culture also dealt heavily in concepts such as rebellion, anti-authoritarianism, individualism, free thought, discontent and featured an array of ideologies; however, the decidedly pop-culture “punks” of today tend to gravitate more toward dissociated fascism, mob conformity, and the suppression of dissension by threat of violence. The “Array of ideologies” has been seemingly reduced to a single outlook after years of exponential indoctrination via college campuses, television, music, and really just “pop culture” in general. Today, more than ever, people have the tendency to build their entire persona after a certain look or life-style, without going beyond the surface level to learn about the culture behind the look. The punks of yesterday loathed the corporatocracy and its legacy media; today, they’d rather defend these corporations over the dwindling sovereignty of their own countries.
In the music world, most acts tend to be at their most pure before the corporate influence comes in and taints it all. This isnt always the case, and there is much that can be gained from access to better producers, but not all of them care about artistic vision. Take Hip-Hop for example, in the beginning the horizon was broad and the possibilities seemed limitless. In less than a decade the labels, agents, social trend strategists have set the message. Instead of rapping about community, muslim faith, or romance, the message is more focused on Violence, criminality and excess – all of which feed the “War on Drugs” and the prison industrial complex money machine.
One of the greatest sins for any aspiring punk rocker or underground hip-hop artist was “selling-out” to a label or corporation, Yet the neoliberal would-be “punks” of today rely on the corporate media and their favorite talking heads to tell them how to feel, what to think, and who to be. Ever wonder why you hear the same songs on the radio all the time? Here’s how the concept of “selling out” works from a musical standpoint in 2020: Major record companies pay radio stations thousands of dollars to play their records, That’s why you rarely, if ever, hear independent music on commercial radio. The record labels pay middlemen (independent radio promoters), referred to as “indies” who in turn pass on some of that money to radio stations (they get a portion too), which accordingly play what the promoters ask/tell them to. In exchange for paying the stations an annual promotion budget ($100,000 for a medium-size market), the indie becomes the station’s exclusive indie and gets paid by the record companies every time that station adds a new song. (yes, even your precious indie promoters are part of the system by design, if anyone actually believes the independent music scene is all self regulated they are sorely mistaken. Don’t take it personally, It’s just business!)
As per Bomb Hip-Hop.com:
“The truth is that big business controls the types of music and artists that get exposure and become popular. The record industry is a $14 billion dollar business. The five major record labels; Sony, Universal, BMG, EMI and Time Warner dominate 85% of the market when it comes to sales of Compact Discs. Leaving only 15% for the hundreds of independent record labels and thousands of artists out there. And when indies get too big or an artist starts making noise these major companies usually pick up the artist or label. This way they control the artist/label, get a percentage of the sales and keep competition to a minimum.”
This sort of thing isn’t exclusive to the music industry, believe it or not this is exactly how the news works as well. It’s funny that the quote mentions EMI, our first Punk-rock Trump Supporter has had an extensive history with the label…
Johnny (Rotten) Lyndon
The Sex Pistols and Public Image Ltd icon John Lydon, AKA Johnny Rotten, has unequivocally confirmed his support for President Donald Trump in a recent interview.
“I’d be daft as a brush not to, he’s the only sensible choice now that Biden is up — he’s incapable of being the man at the helm.”
But doesn’t mean the punk figurehead won’t change his stripes if he feels he’s proven otherwise.
“If I’m wrong, I’m highly capable of correcting that,” Lydon added. “I’ve done that many times and I’ve had to. That’s why I love debate and conversation, because you learn from it. Don’t become entrenched in one opinion and get stuck there forever.”
John Lydon giving his take on BREXIT and Trump:
Fellow UK provocateur Riacky Gervais offers his own personal take on the singers actions:
In 2017 Glenn Danzig voiced his support of Trump’s “Travel Ban”
In an interview with the LA Times in 2017 he was quoted as saying:
“It’s really not a travel ban,” Danzig says. “When you walk into the country, we want to see who you are and what you’re doing. Well, when I go to every country right now, they look at me and they see whether I can come in or not. And I’ve been turned away from Canada and other places before. Where’s my protest? Where’s my parade?”
In response to Danzig’s statement, a writer at the popular Music blog and daily internet publication Sterogum sarcastically retorted: “Yes, because that’s totally the same thing. But hey, at least he’s pro-choice!” neglecting the fact that there are many far more nefarious things going on at the border besides immigration as well as highlighting Danzig’s ability to see beyond partisanship to support certain decisions made by the administration.
Instead of opposing the whole system, now we see that over recent decades (coinciding with establishment infiltration) niches have been taken up within the establishment system punk rock once sought to break free of. In the Bush Jr. era Age of Anti-Flag and Bad Religion to fit in I had to be a democrat and into anarcho-communism or “social anarchy” which sounds nice on paper to somebody who was raised under a negatively polarized capitalist system instead of negatively polarized communist or socialist systems. A spiraling battle ensues between capitalists and communists over which system is better and not considering that like a computer’s operating system, whether its a MAC or a PC or LINUX it depends on how the system is used and regardless which system is chosen a level of trust is being heavily placed upon whoever sits at the helm. In modern times, when every society on earth is being lied to routinely by their own national intelligence agencies, it’s hard to be certain either system won’t be used as an opportunity in the minds of the cold and calculating types who steer our world from the confines of international foreign policy think-tanks.
The hostile, hardcore anti-conservative stigma of modern Punk Rock probably has Joey Ramone’s desiccated carcuss barrel-rolling in his grave. In an interview with Newsmaxtv, drummer and last surviving member Marky Ramone reminisces on political debate while touring the country in their Ford Econoline.
“Johnny was a conservative and Joey was a liberal… So the arguments would go back and forth about why, what for, what’s the reason, you know the usual generalized stuff, but then they would get very specific.
Marky said he and his bandmates — none of whom were related although they all used the name “Ramone” — knew the value of having the freedom to debate, and they loved it.
“That’s the country we live in, thank God, and we’re able to do that. So I respect people’s politics,” he said.
It’s understandable Thinking “if it’s new it will be better than what we’ve got” assuming that if things were to change the powers that be would simply relinquish control instead of using the opportunity to enhance control under the guise of a rebranded political “revolution” with a top-dollar marketing campaign.
Just about every alternative subculture/counterculture has been thoroughly infiltrated, absorbed, and commercialized in some form or another. Nothing of cultural significance remains organic and sacred for long without drawing the attention of that thing, the very thing many of these counter cultures sprang up in opposition-of to begin with. The thing has had many names: the Establishment, Corporate America, the financial elite, the 1%, Big Brother, the Man, etc. Nothing is allowed to grow naturally in the collective mind without being sucked into the big-money maelstrom of sh-t. It is the gruesome marriage between wide-reaching, international corporate conglomerates, the Central Intelligence Agency, the Military Industrial Complex, Hollywood, and Big Tech; all of which are propping up Biden (somebody who has been complicit in this nations atrocities over the last several decades) as their savior.
Those who’ve lived punk/hardcore as a way of life might have a better understanding where I’m going with this than those who’ve simply attached themselves to the scene as a fashion statement, It seeps into your being and stays with you long after growing past wacky hairstyles and denim vests, at least this has been my experience.
Election 2020 is shaping up to be déjà vu all over again for the news media. In an effort to help push Joe Biden over the finish line, the Washington establishment is going all-in on the easily refuted idea that there has been no change in the presidential race over the last three weeks.
After having botched the entire news coverage of the 2016 election, where all the “experts” repeatedly told the American public that Donald Trump had little to no chance of being the Republican nominee and even less a chance of being elected president, corporate media are back at it again, insisting all is well with the Biden campaign and the Democrats are safely on cruise control to take the White House and the Senate. Here’s the truth they are not telling you.
Biden has little enthusiasm for his candidacy. He is taking on an incumbent president with significant first-term accomplishments who has extremely energized supporters, to put it mildly. He had two major opportunities in August to generate some real excitement for his ticket and collect voters in must-win states for Democrats who had abandoned the ticket for Trump in 2016. Think Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
Biden whiffed on both counts, picking a far-left California senator who has the farthest-left voting record of her colleagues, then hosting a convention and giving an acceptance speech where he did nothing to take on the ascending left that potential voters he needs to win have serious concerns and doubts about.
By contrast, Trump and Republicans aggressively went after traditionally Democratic Party voters among minorities, particularly African-Americans. Night after night of their convention, the Republicans made repeated heartfelt pleas from black politicians, celebrities, and everyday beneficiaries of Republican Party policies.
Republicans threw everything they had, from sound policy arguments (about recent successes Republicans have had with criminal justice reform and policies that improve job and wage growth) to emotionally compelling stories about how unchecked riots in Democratic cities harm African Americans and how Democrat control of the black vote has not been reciprocated with policy achievements that benefit their loyalty. The convention did likewise with other key voting groups that Republicans would like to draw more support from.
Since the race truly began a few weeks ago, around the time Kamala Harris was selected as Democrat nominee for vice president, it’s worth looking at some of the movement shown in markets.
In Florida, a state the Trump campaign must win, Biden’s lead of 8.4 points in the RealClearPolitics average at the end of July sits now at 1.8, with the latest poll showing President Trump with a three-point lead. Quinnipiac, a pollster that is not perceived as Trump-friendly, shows Biden’s lead plummeting 10 points, from 13 to just three.
In Pennsylvania, an absolute must-win state for the Biden campaign, Biden’s lead of 8.5 in the RealClearPolitics average near the end of July has been cut in half to 4.2. Monmouth University, again another pollster not viewed as friendly to Trump, shows Biden’s lead falling eight points, from 11 to three points.
In Michigan, Wisconsin, and North Carolina, Biden’s lead from the end of July to the end of August has been cut significantly, according to the Real Clear Politics average. Arizona is the only state where Biden’s lead has grown in the RealClearPolitics average. It should be noted that Arizona’s RCP average was significantly affected by a single outlying FOX News poll that claims Trump is down nine points in the state, which he won in 2016. CNBC, by contrast, has Biden up by only two points.
Incredibly, both NBC News and the Cook Political Report continue to rate Florida as “Lean Democrat” according to their “experts.” No offense, but do they think people are stupid? This is a state Trump won by more than one point four years ago and a state Democrats were unable to carry in 2018, when they lost both the governor and senate races. The latest Quinnipiac poll shows a 10-point momentum toward Trump, where he trails within the margin of error, where Trafalgar has the president ahead by three points. (For what it’s worth, Trafalgar was the only pollster to correctly poll key states in the 2016 and 2018 races.)
The media and the Democrats may not like it, but this race is clearly different from where it was at the end of June, where Trump’s job approval had been going down for three straight months and he bottomed out at 41 percent in the RealClearPolitics average. Today Trump’s job approval is on a three-month upswing and is over 44 percent in the RealClearPolitics average. Three points may not seem like a lot, but in the real world where the critical battleground states will likely be decided by less than that amount, three points are the difference between winning and losing.
So here is the cold reality the media are for some reason refusing to tell people as the country rounds Labor Day and this campaign really gets into high gear. This race is effectively tied today, Trump has momentum, and Biden is going to have to campaign hard, energize his voters, and earn it if he hopes to unseat the incumbent.
The May 12 election “was not the fair, free, and full expression of the intent of the voters,” Superior Court Judge Ernest Caposela wrote in his three-page ruling. “It was rife with mail in vote procedural violations constituting nonfeasance and malfeasance.”
Third Ward Councilman William McKoy brought the matter to court after challenger Alex Mendez was charged. Mendez beat McKoy by 245 votes.
Officials said Mendez, in violation of election laws, tried to be the bearer of a ballot in the same district he was trying to win.
Approximately 24 percent of the ballots cast in the Third Ward election were rejected, in comparison to an average of 9.6 percent in other municipal elections.
“A substantial number of ballots were left on the floor in an apartment building rather than being delivered to the individual mailboxes of the residents,” the judge said. “Approximately two hundred uncounted mail in ballots were found in a postal box located in adjacent Haledon.”
Caposela said the causes of the improperly carried out election included candidates and campaign workers either being unfamiliar with rules or choosing to ignore them. The U.S. Postal Service may also have been overwhelmed.
The ruling doesn’t relate to the voter fraud charges, which will be dealt with in the criminal justice system, he emphasized.
Paterson Mayor Andre Sayegh told CNN that the ruling was the correct one.
“That past election was fraught with fraud,” he said.
City officials have created a new team meant to prevent a similar situation from unfolding during the new election, which will take place on Nov. 3, he added. Until then, the seat that McKoy has held for years will remain vacant.
Scott Salmon, McKoy’s lawyer, said in a statement that the ruling was “great news.”
“We’ve been asking for this since the very beginning, because when 25% of ballots are rejected, it is not, and cannot be, a fair election,” he said.
The office of Gregg Paster, who is representing Mendez, said he was not in and declined to provide his email address. Mendez’s campaign didn’t return an inquiry.
Mendez, Councilman Michael Jackson, and two others were charged in June with crimes that include fraud in casting mail-in votes, unauthorized possession of ballots, and tampering with public records.
Officials said the probe started when Postal Service workers alerted the state attorney general that hundreds of mail-in ballots were found in a mailbox in Paterson. Others were later found in Haledon.
“Today’s charges send a clear message: if you try to tamper with an election in New Jersey, we will find you and we will hold you accountable,” said Attorney General Gurbir Grewal said the time. “We will not allow a small number of criminals to undermine the public’s confidence in our democratic process.”
All four men charged have said they’re innocent.
Jackson was sworn in on July 1 and told those gathered outside City Hall: “Only in America, where a black man or a Latino, which I happen to be both, where the term innocent until proven guilty, does not seem not to apply.”
The charges drew the attention of President Donald Trump, who has been highly critical of an unprecedented mail-in voting push around the nation.
Trump said last month that the presidential election will be “rigged” if mail-in voting takes place.
“So much time is taken talking about foreign influence, but the same people won’t even discuss Mail-In election corruption. Look at Patterson, N.J. 20% of vote was corrupted,” he said in a social media statement.
Trump’s campaign sued New Jersey this week after Gov. Phil Murphy, a Democrat, signed an executive order requiring ballots be sent to all active registered voters. The lawsuit cited the Paterson voter fraud allegations.
Murphy said the order was needed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr. Anthony Fauci, one of the nation’s top infectious disease experts, said last week that voting in person can be done safely.
On MSNBC on Thursday, Murphy dismissed the Paterson debacle as “a local election.”
“Some guys tried to screw with the system,” he said. “I view it as a really positive data point. They got caught.”
“As far as I'm concerned, it's a damned shame that a field as potentially dynamic and vital as journalism should be overrun with dullards, bums, and hacks, hag-ridden with myopia, apathy, and complacence, and generally stuck in a bog of stagnant mediocrity.” -Hunter Thompson
