A warning was issued on the grounds that certain advanced persistent threat actors have developed custom-made tools to gain full system access to multiple ICS and SCADA devices.

The DOE, CISA, NSA, and the FBI are all urging critical infrastructure organizations, especially energy sector organizations, to implement the detection and mitigation recommendations provided to detect potential malicious APT activity and harden their ICS/SCADA devices
Industrial control systems (ICS) are essential for the steady functioning of critical infrastructures such as the energy and water grid or the manufacturing sector. Therefore, when an attack is launched on ICS, the consequences are often far-reaching, just like then a ransomware attack targeted Colonial Pipeline Inc. in the US mid-last year.
That attack brought the entire facility to a complete halt for a few days which then inevitably caused an acute fuel shortage, while prices soared through the roof. It is unfortunate though that threat actors are increasingly shifting their focus from information technology (IT) to what ICS is often referred to as operational technology (OT).
President Joe Biden released a statement Monday warning of potential Russian cyberattacks amid Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.
“I have previously warned about the potential that Russia could conduct malicious cyber activity against the United States, including as a response to the unprecedented economic costs we’ve imposed on Russia alongside our allies and partners. It’s part of Russia’s playbook,” Biden said in a White House press release.
“Today, my Administration is reiterating those warnings based on evolving intelligence that the Russian Government is exploring options for potential cyberattacks,” Biden wrote.
It is unclear if a specific event prompted Biden’s warning, but earlier this month, Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines warned that Russia presents a “serious cyber threat” to the United States.
U.S. officials have confirmed several Russian cyberattacks against Ukraine thus far in the war.
Biden urged private businesses to be vigilant against digital aggression in his statement Monday.
“My Administration will continue to use every tool to deter, disrupt, and if necessary, respond to cyberattacks against critical infrastructure. But the Federal Government can’t defend against this threat alone,” he said. “Most of America’s critical infrastructure is owned and operated by the private sector and critical infrastructure owners and operators must accelerate efforts to lock their digital doors.”
In early 2021 at the height of media-generated covid fear the World Economic Forum released a series of panel discussions and white papers outlining a “pandemic” of a completely different nature; what they referred to as an impending “cyber-attack with covid like characteristics.” The program agenda at the WEF was titled “Cyber Polygon” and headed with unsettling zeal by globalist Klaus Schwab.
The WEF and Schwab are best known for two things:
1) Their involvement in a war game called Event 201 which simulated the global spread of a coronavirus pandemic. This simulation was held two months BEFORE the real thing happened in early 2020 and a majority of the measures played out in the game were in fact implemented almost immediately following the outbreak.
2) Klaus Schwab’s excited announcement that the pandemic was the perfect “opportunity” to institute what he calls the “Great Reset” of the global economy along with the rise of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which is the complete centralization of world trade and governance into a global socialist empire where you will “own nothing, have no privacy, and like it.”
The fact that the WEF was so prescient when it came to the covid pandemic was quite a miracle. It was almost as if they knew it was going to happen, and their political friends in various nations wasted no time carrying out their draconian mandate policies around the world. But something happened that seemed to throw a monkey wrench into the plan – Event 201 predicted and initial death toll of around 65 million people, but this didn’t happen. In fact, the median Infection Fatality Rate of covid was only 0.27%. Covid wasn’t killing enough people, and the public was starting to question the efficacy of the lockdowns, the useless mask rules and the need to take an experimental mRNA vaccine with no long-term testing to prove its safety.
In the US specifically conservative states began to rise up and block the covid agenda. Today, the CDC and the Federal Government have declared the removal of most mandates and even leftist blue states are beginning to relent. However, most conservative red states have been without mandates for well over a year to a year-and-a-half. We’ve been without restrictions this whole time, and the government is acting as if they have just “allowed us” to be free again.
The truth is, the globalists at the WEF and their partners abroad FAILED in their efforts to institute medical tyranny, at least in the US and in certain parts of Europe. The agenda collapsed because the science was against them in every respect. They had nothing. With 99.7% of people safe from covid, it was impossible to engineer enough fear in enough of the population to get them to relinquish their freedoms.
So, for those of us that have been tracking these events carefully, the alarm bells really started ringing when the WEF switched gears and suddenly shifted focus to a cyber-attack narrative. Was this Plan-B?

I have no doubt that the establishment will try to claim the liberty movement is not a movement for freedom, but an “astro-turf” movement created by the Russians to destabilize America. This has been the leftist media propaganda strategy for years now; so why would they stop?”
“In June of this year there was an internet outage event that led to large swaths of the web going dark, including a number of mainstream news sites, Amazon, eBay, Twitch, Reddit and a host of government websites went down. All this happened when content delivery network (CDN) company Fastly experienced a bug. Although Amazon had its website back online within 20 minutes, the brief outage cost the company over $5.5 million in sales (and that’s just one website!).
Fastly identified and fixed the problem within two hours, and continues to claim the outage had nothing to do with a cyberattack. However, it did reveal a huge vulnerability for the internet (what von Clausewitz would’ve called a schwerpunkt). A large portion of the web is dependent on only three CDN companies, including Fastly.
Here is what concerns me: If there was a cyberattack on such weak points in the web, and the attack involved a malicious worm or other highly infectious weapon, then Klaus Schwab could very well get his cyber pandemic.”
Today, the war tensions with Russia are now about to overflow and I suspect it’s only a matter of time before China also begins operations against Taiwan. But there is a much bigger threat on the horizon. I have little doubt at this stage that a false flag attack on the US or Europe (or both) is now imminent, and what I mean by “false flag” is that the attack will be designed to benefit the globalists and not necessarily the country that is blamed for it.
As I have noted in the past, Vladimir Putin is a long-time associate of numerous globalists. His friendship with New World Order ghoul Henry Kissinger started decades ago and they continue to meet for regular lunches as Kissinger acts as an adviser to multiple branches of the Kremlin. Putin has also maintained a steady relationship to the WEF, and Russia even joined Klaus Schwab’s Fourth Industrial Revolution Network just last year. The claim the Putin is anti-globalist is a lie, he is deeply involved in the globalist system and always has been.
The globalists are playing BOTH SIDES of the Ukraine conflict. This is reality. It’s very important to understand and accept this fact, otherwise you will not be able to grasp the events that happen next.
Putin recently threatened Western governments with a reprisal the likes of which they have never seen before if they try to interfere in Ukraine. The problem is that many in the mainstream and alternative media automatically assumed this was a threat of nuclear war. I don’t think this is what Putin was referring to. I have another theory…
The globalists are unlikely to spend the past several decades building up one of the most complex technocratic control grids in history to track and dominate the public only to then annihilate it all in the blink of an eye with nukes. A post-nuke environment would be impossible for them to control. What is more likely, in my view, is a massive cyber-attack that targets the functionality of the internet itself, and it would have to happen relatively soon.
The amount of economic and business operations tied to the Web is staggering. Even if the Internet was to go down for a mere two weeks, the repercussions to our markets and to our supply chain would be devastating. By extension, the benefits to the globalists would be immense. They could implement filters and firewalls on any part of the Web they don’t like (including the alternative media) and claim that this is to protect the Internet from possible sources of viral spread. They could whittle the Web down to only a handful of approved corporate and government sites all in the name of protecting the integrity of the Net.
Furthermore, such an attack would be a perfect scapegoat for the already crashing economy and rising inflation. At that point, the central banks that are truly responsible for our financial instability could simply say that everything was “about to go back to normal” until (Russia or China) spread the cyber-virus. And, maybe Russia will be involved, but it will not be Putin that gives the order, it will be his globalist partners behind the curtain.
The hype machine surrounding Ukraine is in overdrive right now. It’s a little bizarre to me how much panic and indignance is being drummed up. It’s as if people have forgotten that the US government just spent well over a decade devastating a country like Iraq for no good reason. No one seems to be mentioning the hypocrisy of demanding all out war against Russia when US campaigns in Iraq killed hundreds of thousands of civilians and very few countries batted an eye about it.
Clearly, the controlled media is trying to convince the Western people to support direct military confrontation with Russia over a conflict that has nothing to do with us. There are even numerous GOP neo-cons out there (Lindsay Graham, I’m looking at you) campaigning for true conservatives to go along with a war footing. I don’t think it’s gaining much traction, but what has worked as an effective manipulation against conservatives in the past?
The globalists need another Pearl Harbor – A 9/11 attack or something even bigger. They need something that will enrage the American population, specifically conservatives. They need a disaster of epic proportions to lure us into an emotional response and the abandonment of logic. They also need a scapegoat disaster that they can use to lay the blame for the impending economic crisis.
I predict this event will come in the form of a large-scale cyber-attack, and the escalation of events suggests to me that they will try to implement such an attack in the near term. Perhaps within the next couple of months and certainly before the year is over.
This is not about Russia. It’s not about Ukraine. The real war is between free peoples and the globalists. When they are removed and their puppets are removed, the majority of these disasters will stop. As long as they remain in power, the crisis events will only accelerate and increase in frequency until they find something that works; something that makes most people willing to give up their liberties in exchange for the false promise of security.
According to an article published last year, “as of 2020, about 65% of electricity meters across the United States had “smart” capabilities including integrated data processing and two-way communications…” Of course, more “Smart” Meters have likely been installed in the U.S. since then.
American opposition to expensive, hazardous, privacy invasive, unreliable, and vulnerable utility “Smart” Meters (electric, gas, and water) has been ongoing since companies first started deploying them. Despite all their issues which include cybersecurity risks (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6), fires and explosions (see 1, 2, 3), and health risks to humans and animals (see 1, 2, 3), proponents still insist that they’re better than more affordable, reliable, and safer traditional 1-way transmitting analog meters.
None of that was reported though in a recent CBS 60 Minutes segment about the increasing vulnerability of the U.S. Electric Grid.

Ukrainians are facing the prospect of massive power outages, as Russian forces fight for control of areas that house vital parts of Ukraine’s electric grid. If Moscow shuts down the grid, millions could be left without light, heat, refrigeration, water, phones and internet. The White House is monitoring our own critical infrastructure after two Department of Homeland Security warnings last month about threats to our grid. One noted Russia has proven its ability to use cyber attacks to shut down electric grids, and “compromised U.S. energy networks.” We’ve been looking at the grid for months and were surprised to learn how vulnerable it is, and how often it’s deliberately targeted. One attack, nine years ago, was a wake-up call for industry and government.
On the night of April 16, 2013, a mysterious incident south of San Jose marked the most serious attack on our power grid in history.
For 20 minutes, gunmen methodically fired at high voltage transformers at the Metcalf Power substation. Security cameras captured bullets hitting the chain link fence.
Jon Wellinghoff: They knew what they were doing. They had a specific objective. They wanted to knock out the substation.
At the time, Jon Wellinghoff was chairman of FERC, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, a small government agency with jurisdiction over the U.S. high voltage transmission system.
Bill Whitaker: You were concerned enough that you flew out there?
Jon Wellinghoff: That’s correct. And I took two other individuals who train special forces, U.S. special forces. They train people to actually attack infrastructure.
And what the former commandos found looked familiar. They discovered the attackers had reconnoitered the site and marked firing positions with piles of rocks. That night they broke into two underground vaults and cut off communications coming from the substation.
Jon Wellinghoff: Then they went from these vaults, across this road, over into a pasture area here. There were at least four or five different firing positions.
Bill Whitaker: No real security?
Jon Wellinghoff: There was no security at all, really.
They aimed at the narrow cooling fins, causing 17 of 21 large transformers to overheat and stop working.
Jon Wellinghoff: They hit them 90 times, so they were very accurate. And they were doing this at night, with muzzle flash in their face.
Someone outside the plant heard gunfire and called 911. The gunmen disappeared without a trace about a minute before a patrol car arrived. The substation was down for weeks, but fortunately PG&E had enough time to reroute power and avoid disaster.
Bill Whitaker: If they had succeeded, what would’ve happened?
Jon Wellinghoff: Could’ve brought down all of Silicon Valley.
Bill Whitaker: We’re talking Google, Apple; all these guys–
Jon Wellinghoff: Yes, yes. That’s correct.
Bill Whitaker: Who do you think this could have been?
Jon Wellinghoff: I don’t know. We don’t know if they were a nation state. We don’t know if they were domestic actors. But it was somebody who did have competent people who could in fact plan out this kind of a very sophisticated attack.
The grid is a sprawling target. There are actually three in the U.S.: the eastern, western and Texas has its own. Most of us rarely notice substations. There are 55,000 across the country, each housing transformers, the workhorses of the grid. Inside these massive metal boxes, raw electricity is converted to higher or lower voltages.
Should a transformer explode, like this one in Manhattan during Superstorm Sandy, the system is designed to trigger a localized, grid-preserving blackout. But if several sections of the grid go down at the same time, the shutdowns can cascade like dominoes. That’s what set off the great Northeast Blackout in 2003, leaving 45 million Americans without power. A few months before the assault on Metcalf, Jon Wellinghoff of FERC commissioned a study to see if a physical attack on critical transformers could trigger cascading blackouts.
Jon Wellinghoff: It was actually a very shocking result to us that there’s very few substations you need to take out, in the entire United States, to knock out the entire grid.
Bill Whitaker: Knock out the entire grid?
Jon Wellinghoff: That’s correct.
Bill Whitaker: How many would it take to knock outputting the entire country in a blackout?
Jon Wellinghoff: Less than 20.
The report was leaked to the Wall Street Journal. It found the U.S. could suffer a coast-to-coast blackout if saboteurs knocked out just nine substations.
Bill Whitaker: You are relaying this in a very measured way. I would think this would be quite alarming.
Jon Wellinghoff: It was alarming. There’s no question. It is alarming.
After the Metcalf attack, FERC pressed the utilities to harden defenses at their most critical substations – erect walls and sensors to prevent similar attacks – there’s now a wall around Metcalf. But many substations remain vulnerable targets, like one we found in southern California that serves more than 300,000 customers – huge transformers protected by a chain link fence.
Dr. Granger Morgan: Anybody who knows about power systems knows that the, the grid is physically spread all over the countryside. There are a lot of places that are vulnerable.
Dr. Granger Morgan is a Carnegie Mellon University professor of engineering who chaired three National Academy of Sciences reports on the power grid for the U.S. government – the most recent in 2021. An earlier report on terrorism was classified for five years.
Dr. Granger Morgan: We simply made a strong case that the grid was physically very vulnerable.
Bill Whitaker: Why was there a specific report on terrorism and the grid?
Dr. Granger Morgan: There were concerns about the possibility that a terrorist organization could attack the grid. And around the world there have been a fair number of attacks on grids.
They have attacked with bombs, planes and drones. Russia’s cyber attack on Ukraine’s grid in 2015 knocked about 60 substations offline, leaving 230,000 people in the dark. The U.S. secretary of energy has said Russia could do the same thing here.
Dr. Granger Morgan: In the report we did on the resilience of the power system we did argue that we needed an organization, probably DOE and Department of Homeland Security, to systematically look at all the kinds of vulnerabilities we have and then begin to figure out who could address each. In terms of resilience issues, there’s nobody in charge. I mean, there’s no single entity that has responsibility for everything.
Mike Mabee: The U.S. electric grid is the largest machine in the history of mankind. It is a marvel of modern engineering. No one person owns or controls it. It’s actually 3,000 different companies, both public and private sector, that own or operate little pieces of the electric grid.
Mike Mabee is an Iraq war vet, a former cop and a self-taught grid security expert. By day he works for the government. In his spare time, he uncovers public information electric utilities would rather not see the light of day and publishes them on a website called “Grid Security Now.” He is both fascinated and horrified by the grid.
Mike Mabee: I think everybody needs to be as alarmed as I am. We’ve had disasters in the past but they’ve generally always been regional in scale. What we’ve never had is a national-scale blackout, which is completely possible under some known threats such as the cyber threat, the physical security threat, or even extreme weather. And the U.S. public is completely unprepared to survive without the electric grid for any period of time whatsoever.
So when he moved to Texas two years ago, he prepared for the worst, installing solar, wind and battery power.
Mike Mabee: The whole system’s 48 volts.
Mabee’s family survived last winter’s deadly storm, hundreds of Texans perished.
Mike Mabee: And the deaths were largely due to hypothermia, carbon monoxide poisoning because when people got cold they would do things like go into their car in the garage to try to stay warm.
Mabee has become a thorn in the side of the federal government and utility companies.
Mike Mabee: I filed a complaint about supply chain cybersecurity. I filed a complaint about physical security. I filed a complaint about the Texas blackout.
Bill Whitaker: The government and the industry. They think you’re an annoyance?
Mike Mabee: I’ve been termed a “grid security gadfly,” which I wear that as a badge of honor.
One frequent target: the Department of Energy. Mabee told us the grid information the DOE puts out is confusing and dispersed. He said he spends hours trying to make sense of it all.
Mike Mabee: There is a requirement that they report electric disturbance events. But the data from the Department of Energy is so bad. So, you know, I took it upon myself to do some data crunching. And what I found is that 38% of the electric disturbance events in the United States are due to physical attacks against the electric.
Bill Whitaker: 38%? That’s a lot.
Mike Mabee: So in the past decade, there have been over 700 physical attacks against the U.S. electric grid.
Many are copy cats of the Metcalf assault. In 2016, an eco terrorist in Utah shot up a large transformer, triggering a blackout. He said he’d planned to hit five substations in one day to shut down the West Coast. In 2020, the FBI uncovered a white supremacist plot called “lights out” to simultaneously attack substations around the country.
Dr. Liz Sherwood-Randall: We’re seeing planning to disable the delivery of power to the American people.
Dr. Liz Sherwood-Randall is President Biden’s homeland security advisor. We met with her and Anne Neuberger, deputy national security advisor for cyber. They told us the administration’s infrastructure plans should help secure the grid, but acknowledge the threats are real.
Dr. Liz Sherwood-Randall: We have physical threats to the grid. We have natural threats to the grid. We have cyber threats to the grid.
Neuberger came to the White House from the secretive National Security Agency, where she battled Russian hackers in cyberspace.
Bill Whitaker: You said that you’ve been talking to private utility companies around the country about the potential for a cyber attack. What are you telling them?
Anne Neuberger: We’re sharing with them some of the context regarding how Russia and other countries use cyber in crisis or conflict. We’ve actively downgraded intelligence. We’ve taken any information we have about malicious software or tactics that the Russian government has used, shared that with the private sector with very practical advice of how to protect against it.
Bill Whitaker: Isn’t the problem that when it comes to the grid, there’s nothing like the FAA or the Food and Drug Administration or the Securities and Exchange Commission? There’s no one overall agency overseeing these, you said, 3,000 different utilities across the country?
Dr. Liz Sherwood-Randall: We don’t have one system. We have several grids. We also have individual energy ecosystems in regions and states. And that’s part of our strength because the resources for energy are different in different regions. And we have to acknowledge that we’re not going to have a one-size-fits-all system.
Bill Whitaker: You call it one of our strengths. But it also seems to be one of our vulnerabilities.
Dr. Liz Sherwood-Randall: Well, in my view, we can’t impose the regulations that would– you would be suggesting as a federal government. We can set standards and we are setting standards in a variety of arenas.
Carnegie Mellon’s Granger Morgan says what government, industry and law enforcement are doing doesn’t meet the magnitude of the threat.
Dr. Granger Morgan: What we need at this point is to get the White House to put all the key players together in a room to identify the biggest vulnerabilities and then take steps to reduce them.
Bill Whitaker: I’m surprised that’s not being done.
Dr. Granger Morgan: It has not been done. And it needs to happen now.

Information (or disinformation) is now very obviously being leaked to the corporate media warning of impending attacks on the power grid in the United States, as well as cyber-attacks, as the U.S. is now telling citizens in the Ukraine to leave immediately, by whatever means necessary.
If you are not prepared for periods of time with no electricity and no Internet, you may have very little time left to prepare.
The Biden Administration today issued an urgent advisory telling all American citizens they should depart Ukraine amid signs of an “imminent” Russian offensive.
Ukraine in the past days has made it clear that it thinks both the US and UK’s reduction of embassy staff and their families is an overreaction. On Monday and Tuesday, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov told parliament “there are no grounds to believe” Russia will invade imminently.
“Don’t worry, sleep well,” Reznikov said. “No need to have your bags packed.” Ukrainian leaders have expressed anger over the move driven by ‘hysteria’ while outright rejecting as “premature” a State Department travel advisory for Ukraine on Sunday that cited “the increased threats of Russian military action.”
Apparently undeterred by the contradiction and what it’s eastern European ally is clearly advising against, the Biden administration has pulled the trigger on Wednesday, issuing an urgent advisory telling all American citizens they should depart Ukraine amid signs of an “imminent” Russian offensive.
“The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine is urging U.S. citizens in the country to consider departing now via commercial or other privately available transportation options, citing increased threat of Russian military action,” according to Bloomberg.
The embassy’s new security alert reads precisely:
“The U.S. Embassy urges U.S. citizens in Ukraine to consider departing now using commercial or other privately available transportation options.”
Just the day prior a US Embassy official and Kiev explained that diplomats’ families at the embassy had been asked to leave the country because Russia could attack “any day now” if it chose – which echoed a prior statement by White House press secretary of Jen Psaki.
This as the US has continued to fly arms shipments into Kiev, including Javelin anti-tank missiles, which will presumably be sent to the front lines on Donbass.
In this fresh alert urging the departure of Americans, it appears Washington has its recent experience of the chaotic and botched Afghan evacuation in mind, wanting to avoid another such disaster. This after days ago the administration admitted that in the instance of a rapid Russian offensive into Ukraine, it simply wouldn’t have the capability to get all US citizens out. (Full article.)
On Monday this week, Newsweek published an article stating that Russia may launch cyberattacks against the United States in response to a possible escalation of the crisis unfolding at the border with Ukraine.
In a new memo obtained by Newsweek, the Department of Homeland Security has warned of Russia’s potential to launch cyberattacks against the United States in response to a possible escalation of the crisis unfolding at the border with Ukraine.
“We assess that Russia would consider initiating a cyber attack against the Homeland if it perceived a US or NATO response to a possible Russian invasion of Ukraine threatened its long-term national security,” the memo, dated January 23 and attributed to the Office of Intelligence and Analysis, reads in bold text.
The warning came as President Joe Biden sent additional weapons to Ukrainian forces and reportedly weighed the option of sending thousands of U.S. troops to the Baltic states bordering Russia over concerns that Moscow was planning imminent military action against Ukraine. (Full Story.)
Yesterday, the Associated Press published an article about impending attacks on the U.S. power grid, but instead of blaming the impending attacks on the Russians, they blamed them on “domestic extremists.”
Extremist groups in the United States appear to increasingly view attacking the power grid as a means of disrupting the country, according to a government report aimed at law enforcement agencies and utility operators.
Domestic extremists “have developed credible, specific plans to attack electricity infrastructure since at least 2020,” according to the report from the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Intelligence and Analysis. The document, dated Monday, was obtained Tuesday by The Associated Press.
The report warns that extremists “adhering to a range of ideologies will likely continue to plot and encourage physical attacks against electrical infrastructure,” which includes more than 6,400 power plants and 450,000 miles of high-voltage transmission lines that span the country.
Experts on the U.S. power grid have pointed out that it would be difficult to knock out power to the nation given the size and decentralized nature of the grid. The DHS report also notes that attackers, without inside help at least, would be unlikely to produce widespread, multistate outages, though they could still do damage and cause injuries.
It comes as both the FBI and DHS have repeatedly warned in recent months that the U.S. faces a heightened threat from domestic extremists. (Full article.)
As usual, we can view these warnings from the corporate media as propaganda, as they employ the usual techniques of naming sources that cannot be verified. For example, that AP wrote:
“They feel that disrupting the electrical supply will disrupt the ability of government to operate,” the official said on condition of anonymity to discuss a report that has not been publicly released.
So what should we make of these obviously pre-planned “leaks to the media” reports that nobody can check and verify?
I think we should remain skeptical of their narrative regarding who is behind these impending attacks on the power grid and cyber networks, as these attacks are probably being planned and coordinated by the Globalist Wall Street Billionaires and Bankers who know full well that they cannot sustain this current economy, as the money being gambled in these casinos called “the New York Stock Exchange” is about to run out and come crashing down, and they need a new narrative to cover up their crimes against humanity.
Since they have their “Left Wing” puppets in power at the moment, they are conditioning the masses through the corporate media to blame all this on Russia and domestic “Right Wing” terrorists.
If Republicans were installed, it would have been blamed on China and Left Wing groups like BLM and Antifa. The global “hot point” to start it would probably have been Taiwan, instead of the Ukraine. It makes no difference, the results are the same which is to cover up the real crimes the Globalists are committing against humanity.
But I think we should take these warnings seriously, because the potential harm to NOT take these warnings seriously can be catastrophic.
So here is an emergency check list you need to prepare TODAY, as soon as possible, to prepare for what might be coming down the pipe very soon.
Make sure you have a secure water supply. Many homes today have moved away from hot water heaters to tankless water heaters, which means many homeowners no longer have a reserve of water sitting in their home with 50 or more gallons of water stored in their hot water heater. You need potable water to drink, and water to flush your toilets, so plan accordingly.
Make sure you have a means to stay warm and not freeze to death. Many homes have built-in fire places that are seldom used, so this can be one primary source of alternative heat, if you have enough firewood stored. If you have not used your fireplace previously, or for many years, test it first and make sure there are no major cracks in your chimney or you could end up burning down your home and making matters worse.
Have food to eat, and if need be, a way to cook it. This mostly goes without saying and will be the first thing most people consider, but water and heat (especially this time of year) are actually more important. If you need to heat water or food, consider an outdoor grill run on propane and go out now and buy extra propane tanks while you still can.
Make sure you have some cash on hand. ATMs will not work without the grid, and even if the grid is up and a cyber attack hits the financial sectors, you may not be able to withdraw money from your bank accounts. So make sure you have some cash on hand BEFORE that happens.
These are just the bare essentials, of course, to be able to survive for a few days at a time if the grid goes down where you live. And if anything remotely resembling these warnings does in fact happen, the entire financial system will come crashing down as well, which is probably the goal here. So plan accordingly.
Long term, one needs to consider alternative energy sources apart from the system, and if you live in an urban center do not expect law enforcement to protect you (you shouldn’t assume that even when everything is running, but that’s another story).
You will be on your own for defense and protection, so plan accordingly.
