Mitch McConnell Voted Most Unpopular Senator: Poll

Madeleine Hubbard
April 25, 2022

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., is America’s most unpopular senator, according to a Morning Consult poll released Monday.

Just one-third of Kentuckians, 33%, approve of McConnell’s job performance, while 60% disapprove.

The most popular U.S. senator is South Dakota Republican Sen. John Thune, who has a 62% approval rating with a 28% disapproval rating, the poll showed.

Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., showed the largest approval increase, despite facing harsh criticism from fellow Democrats over his moderate views.

In the first quarter of 2021, just 40% of West Virginia voters approved of Manchin. One year later, 57% approved of his performance, including 69% of Republicans.

Grassley Warns of National Security Concerns Surrounding Biden Crime Family; Says New Revelations Will Be Presented to Senate THIS WEEK

Julian Conradson
April 4th, 2022

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) has teamed up with Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) in order to expose the truth behind the Biden Crime Family’s illicit business dealings once and for all.

Hopefully, this is an effort that will lead to some true accountability. The Bidens have profited off of selling out Americans for far too long.

Last week, the pair of Republican Senators spoke on the Senate floor and exposed several high-dollar transfers from foreign entities, including several Chinese Communist Party linked organizations, that were sent to Hunter Biden, the bagman of the Biden Crime Family.

As has been reported before by outlets like the Gateway Pundit, Hunter has received millions of dollars jet-setting across the world on behalf of “the big guy.”

Over the weekend, Grassley appeared on Fox News to discuss Hunter Biden’s backroom deals with China and the possible implications, which could include national security threats like the blackmail of the sitting president.

Grassley, who is currently the President Pro Tempore Emeritus of the Senate, plans on continuing to expose the details of the Bidens and their business operation over the coming weeks, and, for now, will leave the decision to form a Special Counsel to investigate these crimes up to the Attorney General. However, as he pointed out on Fox, Grassley and Johnson have already brought “out the facts and bank records” that “prove” Hunter was picking up cash from people aligned with hostile enemies of the United States.

Doing nothing at this point would be a bad look for the already-fledgling Biden Regime, and Grassley knows it.

From Grassley:

“What’s concerning to us, we released all these documents, is there any sort of blackmail opportunity for china against the United States because of those close working relationships. I say it’s concerning. We dont have any records that would prove anything along that line but when you have people high up in the Chinese government and the business community and you know what they want – they want in’s in the United States for their own political benefit. Then that’s concerning.

We can only expose the records that show that $5 million dollars went from people in china to Hunter Biden.”

Grassley went on to preview, what he called, “more revelations” about Hunter Biden’s business enterprise, which will be coming out later in the week, he explained.

He also points out the failure of the lying partisan hacks in the Legacy news media who buried the information for so long. If they had done their jobs, it wouldn’t be Grassley and Johnson who are the ones bringing this information to the public light.

Grassley Continued:

“Well, we just follow the money and the facts where they lead us, and we aren’t done with this yet. We’ll probably be making some more revelations yet this week in Senate speeches…

…the media should have been working on these over a long period of time. In fact, they were in cahoots with Democratic senators who were trying to say Johnson and I were just disseminating Russian disinformation. When we can trace it right back to the Russians, they [Democrats and the Fake News Media] were the ones who were spreading Russian Disinformation.”

Watch:

Hunter’s seat is getting awfully hot right about now.

Dr. Fauci, Senator Paul Clash (Again) over Biden Administration’s Covid-19 Response

Dr. Anthony Fauci and GOP Sen. Rand Paul on Tuesday clashed again over the Biden administration’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, with the Republican lawmaker also accusing President Biden’s top medical adviser of conspiring to silence critics.

Paul, in a Senate hearing at which Fauci testified, introduced an email exchange between Fauci and former National Institutes of Health Director Dr. Francis Collins, in which Collins suggested “creating a quick and devastating public takedown” of several epidemiologists from Harvard, Stanford, and Oxford, who apparently held opinions about COVID with which Francis and Fauci disagreed.

“In an email exchange with Dr. Collins, you conspire, and I quote here directly from the email, to ‘create a quick and devastating published takedown’ of three prominent epidemiologists from Harvard, Oxford and Stanford,” Paul said.

Paul also said: “A planner who believes he is ‘the science’ leads to an arrogance that justifies, in his mind, using government resources to smear and to destroy the reputations of other scientists who disagree with him.”

Fauci, also director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, contested Paul’s claims, which included that Fauci promptly agreed to Collins’ plan.

“In usual fashion, senator, you are distorting everything about me,” Fauci said. “You do the same thing every hearing.”

To be sure, Paul, also a doctor, has been among Fauci’s most vocal critics since the early stages of the pandemic and has called for him to fired from his government post.

Their heated exchange Tuesday appeared to peak when Fauci pulled out photographs from the senator’s campaign website with the words “Fire Dr. Fauci” beside a picture of the doctor and an option to donate to the Paul’s reelection campaign.

Fauci also repeatedly accused Paul of attacking him for political gain.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Rochelle Walensky; acting Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Dr. Janet Woodcock; and Dawn O’Connell, the Department of Health and Human Services’ assistant secretary for preparedness and response, also testified before the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee on the pandemic response and the surge in COVID cases as a result of the highly contagious Omicron variant.

Questions about confusing communication efforts from the government to the American people about things like booster shots, test availability, and CDC guidelines quickly devolved into emotional, political sparring when Paul was given the floor.

The lawmaker opened his questioning period by calling Fauci a scientist who “rules by mandate” but often makes mistakes.

Committee Chairwoman Democratic Sen. Patty Murray briefly allowed Fauci to respond to some of Paul’s remarks, during which time he discussed the recent arrest of a man Iowa who was allegedly on his way to Washington, D.C., with an AR-15 weapon in his car to kill him.

Fauci said such accusations from Paul “kindle the crazies out there” to behave in way that could be harmful and dangerous to him and his family.

Paul, in 2017, was attacked on his own lawn by a neighbor who ran onto the lawmaker’s property and tackled him. As a result of the attack, Paul suffered five rib fractures and later required medical attention for pneumonia.
