Today’s Ukrainian War Heroes were Yesterday’s White Supremacists and Neo-Nazis Fighting Russia

Jim Hoft
March 18th, 2022

TIME correspondent, Simon Shuster, traveled to Ukraine last summer of 2019 to investigate how white supremacists militias were able to use Facebook to radicalize and recruit people to join their fight.

It was previously reported that Russia insisted one of the reasons for Putin’s attack on Ukraine was to ‘de-militarise and de-Nazify Ukraine.’

When Putin said he would focus on Nazis in Ukraine, he likely knew of the Azov Battalion, although this did not give him an excuse to invade another sovereign nation.

The Gateway Pundit reported on the Azov Battalion previously. Members of this group were recognized at the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine in 2014. The group as we noted, is violent, especially against groups like transvestites, gypsies, and immigrants.

According to a former U.S. ambassador to Russia, Michael McFaul, in his interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” he claimed that there are no Nazis in Ukraine. “He’s [Putin] talking about denazification. There are no Nazis in Ukraine,” McFaul said.

A documentary from TIME magazine in 2019 revealed the existence of a group called Azov that embodied the neo-Nazi and white supremacist ideology led by Andriy Yevhenovych Biletsky in Ukraine.

Andriy Biletsky, a proud white supremacist, claimed that Ukraine’s national purpose was to rid the country of Jews and other inferior races, Fair Observer reported.

A former Marine Corps intelligence officer who served with the United Nations, Scott Ritter, claimed that the first troops trained by US and British soldiers were the neo-Nazi Azov Battalion.

Here’s a background of the Azov battalion, Reuters reported:

So what is the Azov regiment?

Azov is a far-right all-volunteer infantry military unit whose members – estimated at 900 – are ultra-nationalists and accused of harbouring neo-Nazi and white supremacist ideology.

The unit was initially formed as a volunteer group in May 2014 out of the ultra-nationalist Patriot of Ukraine gang, and the neo-Nazi Social National Assembly (SNA) group. Both groups engaged in xenophobic and neo-Nazi ideals and physically assaulted migrants, the Roma community and people opposing their views.

As a battalion, the group fought on the front lines against pro-Russian separatists in Donetsk, the eastern region of Ukraine. Just before launching the invasion, Putin recognised the independence of two rebel-held regions from Donbas.

A few months after recapturing the strategic port city of Mariupol from the Russian-backed separatists, the unit was officially integrated into the National Guard of Ukraine on November 12, 2014, and exacted high praise from then-President Petro Poroshenko.

What has been the international response to Azov?

In June 2015, both Canada and the United States announced that their own forces will not support or train the Azov regiment, citing its neo-Nazi connections.

The following year, however, the US lifted the ban under pressure from the Pentagon.

In October 2019, 40 members of the US Congress led by Representative Max Rose signed a letter unsuccessfully calling for the US State Department to designate Azov as a “foreign terrorist organisation” (FTO). Last April, Representative Elissa Slotkin repeated the request – which included other white supremacist groups – to the Biden administration.

Transnational support for Azov has been wide, and Ukraine has emerged as a new hub for the far right across the world. Men from across three continents have been documented to join the Azov training units in order to seek combat experience and engage in similar ideology.

The oscillation of Facebook

In 2016, Facebook first designated the Azov regiment a “dangerous organisation”.

Under the company’s Dangerous Individuals and Organizations policy, Azov was banned from its platforms in 2019. The group was placed under Facebook’s Tier 1 designation, which includes groups such as the Ku Klux Klan and ISIL (ISIS). Users engaging in praise, support or representation of Tier 1 groups are also banned.

However, on February 24, the day Russia launched its invasion, Facebook reversed its ban, saying it would allow praise for Azov.

“For the time being, we are making a narrow exception for praise of the Azov regiment strictly in the context of defending Ukraine, or in their role as part of the Ukraine national guard,” a spokesperson from Facebook’s parent company, Meta, told Business Insider.

According to TIME magazine’s documentary published in 2021, “Azov is much more than a militia. It has its own political party” who worked hand in hand with the Ukrainian armed forces.

TIME reported:

Its fighters resemble the other para-military units—and there are dozens of them—that have helped defend Ukraine against the Russian military over the past six years. But Azov is much more than a militia. It has its own political party; two publishing houses; summer camps for children; and a vigilante force known as the National Militia, which patrols the streets of Ukrainian cities alongside the police. Unlike its ideological peers in the U.S. and Europe, it also has a military wing with at least two training bases and a vast arsenal of weapons, from drones and armored vehicles to artillery pieces.

Outside Ukraine, Azov occupies a central role in a network of extremist groups stretching from California across Europe to New Zealand, according to law enforcement officials on three continents. And it acts as a magnet for young men eager for combat experience. Ali Soufan, a security consultant and former FBI agent who has studied Azov, estimates that more than 17,000 foreign fighters have come to Ukraine over the past six years from 50 countries.

The vast majority have no apparent links to far-right ideology. But as Soufan looked into the recruitment methods of Ukraine’s more radical militias, he found an alarming pattern. It reminded him of Afghanistan in the 1990s, after Soviet forces withdrew and the U.S. failed to fill the security vacuum. “Pretty soon the extremists took over. The Taliban was in charge. And we did not wake up until 9/11,” Soufan tells TIME. “This is the parallel now with Ukraine.”

Russia Sanctions President Biden, Hunter Biden, Hillary Clinton, Secretary Blinken & Top Defense Officials

Moscow has hit back against Washington by sanctioning top US leadership, including President Joe Biden himself. The punitive retaliation measures extend to the chiefs of the Pentagon, and Secretary of State Antony Blinken and CIA Director William Burns. Russian state media announced in a Tuesday statement:

“Russia on Tuesday sanctioned US President Joe Biden, Secretary of State Tony Blinken, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, and ten other administration officials and political figures. Moscow has said that the sanctions are a reciprocal measure, imposed after Washington blacklisted top Russian leaders, including President Vladimir Putin.”

Despite the measures being largely symbolic – as it will be essentially impossible for Moscow to actually go after US officials’ assets unless they are held in Russia itself (and certainly no top American official is looking to travel to Russia anytime soon) – it signals that tensions with the West are ratcheting fast, with increasingly few off-ramps as the two sides chart a war-footing course.

According to breaking details in Bloomberg:

  • Sanctions would block entry to Russia, freeze any assets there
  • “We aren’t refusing to maintain official ties if they correspond to our national interests,” ministry says, adding sanctions would not impede high-level contacts if needed

“The list of sanctioned individuals includes 13 people, including US President Joe Biden, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, CIA Director William Burns and Son of US President Hunter Biden,” it’s being reported.

Just In: China Is Reportedly Demanding a “Full Account” of US Bio-military Activities” in Ukraine

Patty McMurray
March 14th, 2022

The controversy surrounding the labs began last week when US Undersecretary Nuland testified in front of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee where she told Senator Marco Rubio that the US is working with Ukraine to prevent BIOLOGICAL RESEARCH FACILITIES from falling into the hands of Russian forces!”

“Ukraine has biological research facilities, which in fact we are now quite concerned Russian troops, Russian forces may be seeking to gain control of, so we are working with the Ukrainians on how they can prevent any of those research materials from falling into the hands of Russian forces should they approach,” Nuland said.

Top-rated Fox News host Tucker Carlson delved into the controversy after Nuland admitted the US was “helping” Ukraine to protect the bio-research facilities, saying, the Pentagon is lying about bio labs in Ukraine.

And then on Friday, at the request of Vladimir Putin, the UN Security Council met to present evidence of military biological activities allegedly by the United States in Ukraine.

Watch Russia’s UN Ambassador Vasily Nebenzia blast the United States for their alleged involvement in “bioweapons labs” in Ukraine:

UN Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield blasted Russia’s UN Ambassador and accused him of spreading lies.  “Ukraine does not have a biological weapons program. There are no Ukrainian biological weapons laboratories supported by the United States,” she told the UN Security Council.

Former US Rep. Democrat Tulsi Gabbard weighed in on the controversy on Twitter, where she demanded that the US secure the 25 bio labs in Ukraine. RINO Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT), accused Gabbard of treason for her comments. Gabbard shot back in a videotaped message to Mitt Romney only moments ago.

After a week of bantering back and forth between Russia, NATO, and the US about alleged bio-military laboratories in Ukraine that are reportedly funded by the United States, Communist China has now reportedly stepped in and is demanding a “full account of US bio-military activities” in Ukraine. According to Disclose TV, the Chinese foreign ministry is claiming the US’ responses are “self-contradictory and confusing.”

COVID Deathwatch Fearporn Replaced with 9-11 Esque War Fetishization and False Reporting Regarding Ukraine

Ryan DeLarme
March 14th, 2022

Another day, another bombardment of information meant to target and hijack your central nervous system via psychologically induced biohacking. We are moving on from one manipulative bonanza to another, trading in our COVID Deathcounts and dancing ICU nurses for models brandishing airsoft guns and video game clips presented as raw war footage.

Though there is a very real and grave situation escalating in Ukraine, a lot of what we are being sold about the conflict appears to have been a nicely packaged bag of goods, sufficiently tinkered with by the modern press wizards and decades of propaganda by their predecessors. As was done with COVID-19, the establishment and its myriad tendrils are now stoking the fires of war to elicit a specific reaction in those who still cling to the narratives crafted by the corpocratic uni party.

The biggest question, perhaps, is whether or not the military-industrial complex (MIC), the criminal Deep-State, and the international western intelligence apparatus have their own uses for this incursion, and if so, how are they using the fog of war to their advantage? What picture are they trying to paint for us and to what ends?  We may never know the full truth of why things are playing out the way they are, but we can at least come to certain conclusions about how the same media and ruling class (that consistently got things wrong all throughout the pandemic) are trying to frame the conflict in Ukraine to suit their needs.

Below are several examples of dubious narratives that have emerged and been subsequently scrutinized:

  • Videos popped up on Facebook and TikTok claiming that 13 soldiers stationed on Snake Island were killed after a Russian Warship attacked the island. This story had all the trappings of war-time propaganda. Surrounded and outnumbered good guys. Larger, more powerful, and lethal bad guys. Courage until the very end. No surrender. It’s the type of stuff that makes legends of soldiers and provides both a morale boost and reinvigorated sense of purpose back in the barracks. If they can do it, then so can I. The lies went so far as to find themselves in a speech given by President Volodymyr Zelensky himself, who said that the thirteen Heroes of Snake Island would even be awarded the highest possible honor posthumously. The mainstream media wasted no time whipping up headlines. It was later revealed that the soldiers were, in fact, alive and well. The verdict is still out as to whether or not they surrendered peacefully, as Russian sources claim, or if they were taken captive by force.
  • Supposedly a Russian tank ran over a civilian car with an elderly man still inside, but several journalists and open source researchers claim that the armored vehicle is a Strela-10, an air defense system used by the Ukrainian military.

There are other clues that suggest the vehicle is Ukrainian. For example, there is no letter “Z” painted on the side of the tank, something the Russian military has used since the start of this conflict as a distinguishing mark to differentiate their equipment from similar Ukrainian models.

It is yet unknown why this Ukrainian armored vehicle ran over a civilian car, but other videos shot moments earlier provide some potential answers. As per Observers France 24:

Why did this Ukrainian armored vehicle run over a civilian car in this part of Kyiv? Other videos shot a few moments earlier provide some answers to this question. We have chosen not to publish them, due to their shocking nature. It shows soldiers dressed in Ukrainian uniforms chasing and shooting at the driver of a military truck (in red below) seconds before the armored vehicle crushed the car.

Screenshot of one of the videos showing shooting in Obolon. © Observers

The man driving the military truck was also wearing a Ukrainian uniform, but soldiers who could be heard speaking in the videos explained that he was suspected to be a “Russian saboteur disguised as a Ukrainian soldier”. A few minutes before the incident occured, Ukrainian Deputy Defence Minister Anna Maliar posted a message on Facebook saying that “the Russian army has seized Ukrainian army vehicles and is headed towards Kyiv”.

In several videos, the Ukrainian soldiers nearby do not attack the armored vehicle after it runs over the car, nor does the vehicle flee. This is why several journalists claim that the driver of the Strela-10 was not one of these saboteurs, but rather a Ukrainian soldier who was thrown off by the shooting that had taken place nearby. They said the collision between the car and the Ukrainian armored vehicle was accidental and caused by the fighting.

  • Widespread outrage erupted after a story broke claiming that Russia bombed the Holocaust Memorial Center in Babyn Yar, even Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky himself tweeted out about the memorial being destroyed. However, on March 2nd, New York Times correspondent Nadav Gavrielov posted this clarification:

“The Babyn Yar Holocaust Memorial Center was not directly damaged during a nearby strike in Kyiv on Tuesday that the Ukrainian authorities said had killed five people, according to Ruslan Kavatsiuk, the deputy chief executive of the center. He said there was damage to a building that the center plans to use for a museum”.

  • It was claimed that Russia shelled the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant. On March 4th, Euronews and Reuters covered this story, which went on to make global headlines and generate fear of potential nuclear catastrophe. After injecting their coverage with  psychologically manipulative verbiage, the articles provide this clarification:

“The fire at the Zaporizhzhia compound was in a training center and not at the plant itself. An official at Energoatom, the state enterprise that runs Ukraine’s four nuclear plants, said there was no further fighting, the fire was out, radiation was normal and Russian forces were in control”

  • Several photos of Zelensky in military garb circulated recently that were actually from 2021,  these images show President Volodymyr Zelensky during military exercises last October in the disputed Donbas region in Eastern Ukraine, months before Russia’s invasion. These photos have been used to promote the image of an engaged and courageous Zelensky, standing side by side with his troops and fighting the evil Vladimir Putin. It’s David Vs. Goliath. For instance, one of the aforementioned Twitter clowns proclaimed, “Unlike [Putin], Ukraine’s president is on the front lines fighting for his people. This is a leader!” This information isn’t meant to downplay the heroism of those who are actually defending their homes in Ukraine, rather, we mention this to draw attention to the way our Media operates. The Western Establishment wants you to believe a particular narrative and it will break all ethics codes to do so. THAT is the story, not that you should pick sides.
  • The Ghost of Kiev. Not long after the invasion began, rumors and reports began to circulate that one of their pilots, flying an MiG-29, had shot down six Russian aircraft (some reports claim as many as 21 confirmed aircraft kills). The tall tale combined with the mystery surrounding the identity of this pilot created the perfect storm of intrigue, catapulting the nameless fighter known colloquially as the Ghost of Kyiv to hero status.
Military.com added their own spin on the make believe war hero, giving those who pushed the false claim a pass and claiming that the stunt was fine because it was good for morale. The video footage originally circulated claiming to be raw war footage of the “Ghost of Kyiv” was determined to have actually come from a video game.

Visual Examples:

It is very easy to become a victim of psychological warfare intended to manipulate our opinions.

And then we come to the things that were actually real but labeled as false by the mainstream media, its fact-checkers, and even the White House press secretary. Namely the presence of US-funded Biolabs lining the border of Ukraine and Russia. To put the severity of this in context, just imagine if Vladimir Putin had placed a series of Biolabs in Mexico along our border.

Justin DesChamps, founder of Stillness in the Storm and host of Vigilant News, seized the day and jumped on a story that many were afraid to touch:

Days after Twitter suspended an account for the high crime of accurately reporting that BioLab facilities in Ukraine match up with Russian targets in their ongoing operations, the US Embassy in Ukraine appears to have scrubbed various PDF fact sheets and documents from their official site.”

The documents removed confirmed that, despite the fake news reported by Politifact, there are indeed Biolabs in Ukraine—at least there were.

Politifact, and several other mainstream media outlets, have attempted to debunk the claim that the US and Ukraine were working together to advance mutual interest in the domain of bioweapons production, saying that the facilities are part of the U.S. Department of Defense Cooperative Threat Reduction Program. In short, while the program identifies, collects, secures, and develops treatments for pathogens—according to official statements on the US Embassy site, these programs are not involved in bioweapons manufacturing.”

Unfortunately for Politifact and company, their credibility (whatever was left of it) was shredded when Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland testified before a Senate Foreign Relation Committee hearing that the State Department was concerned that Russian forces are trying to gain control of biological research facilities within Ukraine. The rest of the world took this as an admission from the United States that they did indeed have Biolabs in Ukraine.

Russia put out its own version of the story, but of course, we are supposed to believe that Russians are only capable of dangerous lies. ASB News, an organization that breaks news on Russia and its military, published documents Russia claims show biological testing in Ukraine near the Russian border.

One document shows a list of the microbes being tested at the lab.

The documents were later deleted but they are still available on the Wayback Machine.

Russia Ups Their Accusations – Blames Deadly Outbreak of Swine Flu in Ukraine that Killed 364 People on US-Funded Biolabs

Richard Abelson
Published March 14, 2022

The Russian representative on the UN Security Council Vassily Nebenzia has charged that a “US-implemented program” of biological research in Ukraine may have triggered “uncontrolled dangerous infections in Ukraine”, including rubella, diphtheria, tuberculosis, measles, polio, and swine flu. “By March 2016, a total of 364 people died of swine flu in Ukraine,” Nebenzia claimed.

“While the US itself shut down military-purpose biological research on its territory due to high risks it posed to American population, the Kiev authorities actually agreed to turn their country into a biological testing site and have their citizens used as potential test subjects”, Nebenzia charged. Materials confiscated by the Russian Defense Ministry “prove that all serious high-risk research in Ukrainian biolabs was directly supervised by US experts who had diplomatic immunity,” Nebenzia claimed.

The US government turned Ukraine into a “site for dangerous biological tests on the doorstep of the European Union,” Nebenzia stated, “a real biological threat to the population of European states that may be posed by uncontrolled spread of biological agents from Ukraine. As we know from our experience with COVID-19, this cannot be stopped. Should this be the case, it will encompass the entire Europe.”

During wartime, Russian claims must be viewed with the same degree of skepticism as those of all other warring parties. Nonetheless, due to the seriousness of the charges, and since its substance has been completely ignored by the mainstream media, Gateway Pundit documents the entire speech by Vassily Nebenzia here:

Here is the transcript from Vassily Nebenzia’s speech to the UN Security Council.

Madame President, Dear Colleagues,

The COVID-19 pandemic demonstrated how vulnerable humanity is in the face of biological threats. It has exacted a huge toll on us, and it continues to claim people’s lives.

When the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention (BTWC) entered into force in 1975, there was hope that the world would at least be safe from manmade biological threats, because all states-signatories realized enormous risks of using biological weapons (BW) and abandoned plans to develop it.

Unfortunately, we have grounds to think that those hopes did not come true completely.

We called this meeting because during the Russian special military operation in Ukraine, some shocking facts came to light: the Kiev regime is urgently concealing traces of a military biological program that Kiev implemented with support of the US Department of Defense.

Defense Ministry of Russia got hold of documents confirming that Ukraine developed a network of at least 30 biological laboratories that host extremely dangerous biological experiments, aimed at enhancing the pathogen properties of plague, anthrax, tularemia, cholera, and other lethal diseases with the help of synthetic biology. This work is funded and directly supervised by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) of the United States, i.a. in the interests of Pentagon’s National Center for Medical Intelligence. The key role in these programs was played by a BSL-3 central reference laboratory at the Mechnikov Scientific-Research Anti-Plague Institute in Odessa, Ukraine. Research centers in other cities also played a role – Kiev, Lvov, Kharkov, Dnipro, Kherson, Ternopol, Uzhgorod, Vinnytsia. Research results were sent to US military biological centers, i.a. to U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infections Diseases, Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, US Naval Medical Research, and US Army Biological Warfare Labs in Fort Detrick that used to be the key hubs of the American biological weapons program.

All the materials are available at the website of Russian Ministry of Defense and are presented at daily briefings. Let me cite the most telling examples.

Russian military learned the details of UP-4 project which was implemented at laboratories in Kiev, Kharkov and Odessa. It studied possibilities of spreading particularly dangerous infections through migratory birds, including highly pathogenic H5N1 influenza (lethal to humans in 50 % of cases) and Newcastle disease. As part of another project, bats were considered as carriers of potential BW agents. Among the priorities identified are the study of bacterial and viral pathogens that can be transmitted from bats to humans: pathogens of plague, leptospirosis, brucellosis, as well as coronaviruses and filoviruses. Project documents clearly indicate that the United States actively financed bioprojects in Ukraine.

Besides, there were experiments to study spreading of dangerous infectious diseases by ectoparasites – fleas and lice. It is clear even to non-experts that such experiments are most reckless, as they give no opportunity to control how the situation is going to evolve. Similar research (using fleas and lice as BW agents) was carried out in the 1940s on the development of biological weapons components by the Japanese infamous unit 731, whose members later fled to the US to escape prosecution for war crimes.

Ukraine has a unique geographical location, where transcontinental migration routes of potential carriers of dangerous diseases intersect. Many of those routes pass through the territories of Russia and Eastern Europe. The research that I mentioned was done in the very midst of Eastern Europe and in close vicinity to the Russian borders. According to the data received, the birds that were ringed and released during biological research from the Kherson nature reserve, were caught in Ivanovo and Voronezh regions of Russia.

The analysis of the obtained materials confirms the transfer of more than 140 containers with ectoparasites of bats from a biolab in Kharkov abroad. We do not know anything about the fate of those dangerous biomaterials and the consequences that may occur once they “dissipate” (possibly in Europe) in the absence of any international control. In any case, risks are high that they may be stolen for terrorist purposes or to be sold at the black market.

Several thousands of samples of blood serum of COVID-19 patients (most of them of Slavic ethnicity) were transported from Ukraine to Walter Reed Army Institute of Research in the United Stated – allegedly for trials of treatment and prevention of COVID-19.

Everyone knows how sensitive Western states are when it comes to transferring biological samples of their citizens abroad. And there is a good reason for that – theoretically, samples may be used to create bioagents capable of selectively targeting different ethnic populations.

The activity of biolabs in Ukraine that we track back to 2014, and US-implemented program of so-called reform of Ukrainian healthcare system triggered uncontrolled growing incidence of dangerous and economically relevant infections in Ukraine. There is an increase in the number of cases of rubella, diphtheria, tuberculosis. Occurrence of measles has increased more than 100-fold. The World Health Organization said Ukraine runs high risks of having a polio outbreak. There is evidence that in Kharkov, where one of the labs is located, 20 Ukrainian soldiers died of swine flu in January 2016, 200 more were hospitalized. By March 2016, the total of 364 people had died of swine flu in Ukraine. Besides, outbreaks of African swine fever occur regularly in Ukraine. In 2019, there was an outbreak of a disease that had symptoms similar to plague.

While the US itself shut down military-purpose biological research on its territory due to high risks it posed to American population, the Kiev authorities actually agreed to turn their country into a biological testing site and have their citizens used as potential test subjects. Those experiments bearing potential country-scale risks continued for years. This once again proves the cynicism of Kiev’s Western patrons who keep shouting from every rooftop that they care for the fate of Ukrainians.

As reported by Reuters, WHO recommended that Ukraine should eliminate its stocks of pathogens to avoid possible leaks that might trigger disease spread among the population. It is not known for sure whether Kiev has complied.

The materials that our Defense Ministry got hold of prove that all serious high-risk research in Ukrainian biolabs was directly supervised by US experts who had diplomatic immunity. Our Defense Ministry reports that at this moment the Kiev regime, as demanded by the Western sponsors, hastily covers up all traces so that the Russian side could not get hold of direct evidence of the US and Ukraine violating Article 1 of the BTWC. They rush to shut down all biological programs. Ukraine’s Health Ministry ordered to eliminate biological agents deposited in biolabs starting from 24 February 2022. We infer from the instructions to lab personnel that the order of elimination of collections suggested that they should be destroyed irrevocably. Having analyzed the destruction certificates, we can say that the Lvov lab alone destroyed 232 containers with pathogens of leptospirosis, 30 – of tularemia, 10 – of brucellosis, 5 – of plague. The total of more than 320 containers was eliminated. Pathogens’ titles and excessive amounts give reason to think that this work was done as part of military biological programs.

Now let me make a separate address to our colleagues from Europe.

All those years, there was a site for dangerous biological tests on the doorstep of the European Union. We call to think of a real biological threat to the population of European states that may be posed by uncontrolled spread of biological agents from Ukraine. As we know from our experience with COVID-19, this cannot be stopped. Should this be the case, it will encompass the entire Europe.

US representatives get rather confused when speaking about the US involvement in biological activity on the territory of Ukraine. During hearings of the US Congress on 8 March, Undersecretary of State Victoria Nuland in fact confirmed that there were biolabs in Ukraine where military-purpose biological research had been conducted. When asked by Senator Marco Rubio whether Ukraine had biological and chemical weapons, she responded that Ukraine had biological research facilities that “should not fall in the hands of Russian forces”.

At the same time, the Department of State sticks to the point that allegedly there are no US-controlled biolabs in Ukraine. Hence a question to the American delegation. How does this reconcile with 2005 Agreement between the US Department of Defense and Ukrainian Ministry of Health Concerning Cooperation in the Area of Prevention of Proliferation of Technology, Pathogens, and Expertise that could be Used in the Development of Biological Weapons? This document is available on the Internet. According to Article 3 of this agreement, the US Department of Defense may provide assistance to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine in the area of “cooperative biological research, biological threat agent detection and response” with regard to “dangerous pathogens located at the facilities in Ukraine”.

We emphasize that biological threats defy all borders. No region of the world can feel totally safe today. The United States supervises several hundreds of biolabs in 30 countries, i.a. in the Middle East, Africa, South-East Asia, and along the perimeter of former USSR. Washington does not agree to subject them to international verification. Starting from 2001, it has been impeding elaboration of a binding protocol to the BTWC that should envisage a reliable verification mechanism to monitor states’ compliance with the Convention. This cannot but make us think that the United States has something to conceal. I call on the colleagues from those regions to think of what sort of activity Washington is carrying out on their territories and what consequences it may have for the population.

We foresee the reaction of our Western colleagues who will definitely say that this information is all fake and Russian propaganda. However this sort of wishful thinking will hardly help Europeans should Ukraine and its neighboring states have outbreaks of dangerous diseases that would subsequently spread beyond their borders. This risk seems rather real if we take into account considerable interest that Ukrainian radical and nationalist groups have in research of dangerous pathogens that was conducted in Ukraine in the interests of the US Department of Defense. We have information that Pentagon instructed its Ukrainian protégés that, should any incidents occur, they should instantly accuse Russian Armed Forces who allegedly launch strikes against research and medical facilities, or blame it all on “Russian subversive teams”.

Russian Defense Ministry keeps analyzing the biological situation in Ukraine and all incoming materials. What we shared today is a small portion of information that we have. We will share the details shortly as UNSC official documents so that you could study them.

We feel obliged to keep the Security Council updated on the situation with US military-purpose biological activity in Ukraine that creates real risks for international peace and security. We intend to get back to this topic soon. We would not exclude a possibility of activating mechanisms envisaged by Articles 5 and 6 of the BTWC. For now, we would like to hear answers of the US side to the questions that we asked.

Thank you.

Russia Opens Criminal Case and Calls to Classify Facebook Meta as ‘Extremist Organization’ – All Services Including Instagram and Whatsapp Will be Banned in Russia

Jim Hoft
March 12th, 2022

The Russian government moved to categorize the social media giant Meta Platform as an ‘extremist organization’ after an internal email showed that it would temporarily allow its users to call for violence and murder against Russian nationals.

Earlier this month, Russia blocked access to Facebook after imposing partial restrictions on the social media giant for refusing Russia’s request to stop fact-checking their state-run media.

On Thursday, Reuters reported that Meta would allow users in some countries to call for violence against Russians and Russian soldiers in the context of the Ukraine invasion.

Now, Russia opened a criminal case against Meta for permitting violence, including death threats in their platform against Russian nationals. Russia’s prosecutor general office also called to label them as an ‘extremist organization.’

CNBC reported:

Russia opened a criminal case against Facebook’s parent Meta Platforms on Friday after the social network changed its hate speech rules to allow users to call for “death to the Russian invaders” in the context of the war with Ukraine.

Russian prosecutors asked a court to designate the U.S. tech giant as an “extremist organization,” and the communications regulator said it was restricting access to Meta’s Instagram.

“A criminal case has been initiated … in connection with illegal calls for murder and violence against citizens of the Russian Federation by employees of the American company Meta, which owns the social networks Facebook and Instagram,” Russia’s Investigative Committee said.

The committee reports directly to President Vladimir Putin. It was not immediately clear what the consequences of the criminal case might be.

No comment was immediately available from Meta in response to a Reuters request.

Fact or Fiction? Russia Publishes Documents that Show Ukraine Was Working on Biological Testing Near Russian Border

With all of the disinformation coming out of Ukraine since the start of the Russian invasion it is difficult to discern what is real and what is fake.

There were rumblings last week that biological labs and testing sites in Ukraine were linked to the United States.  We chose not to report on these claims.

The Bulletin in February claimed these reports were false and Russian disinformation.

But today ASB News, an organization that breaks news on Russia and its military, published documents Russia claims show biological testing in Ukraine near the Russian border.

One document shows a list of the microbes being tested at the lab.

At least one of the documents a RIA Novosti stamp on it — RIA Novosti is a Russian news site.

There are documents from the US Embassy that were posted online on the biological labs in Ukraine.

The documents were later deleted but they are still available on the WayBack Machine.

According to CannCon  and IAmthe3Percent.

US Embassy removed all their Ukraine Bioweapon lab documents from the website.

They removed all the PDF files from the embassy website here https://ua.usembassy.gov/embassy/kyiv/sections-offices/defense-threat-reduction-office/biological-threat-reduction-program/

The good news is they are still archived https://web.archive.org/web/20170130193016/https://photos.state.gov/libraries/ukraine/895/pdf/dtro-kharkiv-eng.pdf https://web.archive.org/web/20210511164310/https://photos.state.gov/libraries/ukraine/895/pdf/dtro-luhansk-eng.pdf https://web.archive.org/web/20170221125752/https://photos.state.gov/libraries/ukraine/895/pdf/dtro-dnipropetrovsk-eng.pdf https://web.archive.org/web/20210506053014/https://photos.state.gov/libraries/ukraine/895/pdf/dtro-vinnitsa-eng.pdf https://web.archive.org/web/20170221125752/https://photos.state.gov/libraries/ukraine/895/pdf/dtro-dnipropetrovsk-eng.pdf https://web.archive.org/web/20170207122550/https://photos.state.gov/libraries/ukraine/895/pdf/dtro-kherson-fact-sheet-eng.pdf https://web.archive.org/web/20170223011502/https://photos.state.gov/libraries/ukraine/895/pdf/dtro-ternopil-fact-sheet-eng.pdf https://web.archive.org/web/20170208032526/https://photos.state.gov/libraries/ukraine/895/pdf/dtro-zakarpatska-fact-sheet-eng.pdf https://web.archive.org/web/20170208032526/https://photos.state.gov/libraries/ukraine/895/pdf/dtro-zakarpatska-fact-sheet-eng.pdf https://web.archive.org/web/20170202040923/https://photos.state.gov/libraries/ukraine/895/pdf/dtro-lviv-dl-eng.pdf https://web.archive.org/web/20170201004446/https://photos.state.gov/libraries/ukraine/895/pdf/dtro-lviv-rdvl-eng.pdf https://web.archive.org/web/20161230143004/https://photos.state.gov/libraries/ukraine/895/pdf/dtro-eidss.pdf https://web.archive.org/web/20210506212717/https://photos.state.gov/libraries/ukraine/895/pdf/dtro-pathogen-asset-control.pdf https://web.archive.org/web/20170207153023/https://photos.state.gov/libraries/ukraine/895/pdf/dtro-dnipropetrovsk-rdvl_eng.pdf https://web.archive.org/web/20170211022339/https://photos.state.gov/libraries/ukraine/895/pdf/kiev-ivm-fact-sheet-eng.pdf

These labs are reporedly co-run by Fauci’s EcoHealth Alliance and rumor is Russia’s entire military operation right now is unofficially to either secure and/or destroy these labs and gather evidence.
