The Price of False Expectations: How “Romantic Culture” from the Past Destroys Relationships in the Present

Romanticism, according to author Alain De Botton, introduced the idea of love, romance, and soul mates into modern culture. Before that, marriage was more about business and procreation, not so much about personal fulfillment. Surely, there are some good things that came from romantic thinking, like the idea that love should be a guiding force inn relationships. But it also introduced several ideas that to this day cause the modern man and women a lot of problems.

Related These Cultural Myths Keep You Emotionally Sick and Unhappy in the Modern-Age

As we laid out in the above-related article, our beliefs and expectations about life greatly affect our sense of fulfillment, along with our goals and values.

For instance, if you assume everyone in life is good, kind, and honest when you encounter a mean, hateful, deceptive person, it will be very difficult for you to handle. Similarly, if you were taught that when learning something new, you’ll always do well in the first attempt, you’ll find it really hard to cope with failure when gaining new skills.

When ideals conflict with reality, they create unrealistic expectations that we assume are valid. We act as if these false ideals are approachable. When we fail to meet them, we’ll suffer the tragedy of low self-worth and self-judgment—because if the ideal is real, then the problem has to be us.

I would argue, this interplay between ideals, expectations, and our sense of fulfillment and satisfaction is one of the most important things to understand as a human being, Relationships and love are no exception.

Romanticism brought forth the idea of a soul mate. But to be clear, this idea isn’t new nor is there only one version.

The romantic concept of a soul mate is, I argue, unrealistic. There are other better definitions and ideals to work with when it comes to soul mate conceptualization. We’re going to focus on the bad one so you can understand why it creates so many issues.

The romantic version of a soul mate is this:

There’s a soul mate out there that was put here just for you. This soul mate will love you completely just as you are. They will know your every need. Satisfy your every whim without having to ask. And they’ll never challenge you, because, well, you’re already perfect. You’ll find your soul mate by feeling and instincts you don’t understand but are unmistakeable. One day, you’ll see them and it will just hit you “that’s my soul mate.” And from that moment on, all of your dreams for life will be within your grasp. They will perfectly and completely satisfy all your needs, without you having to say anything or work on yourself.

If you’re dating anyone and you feel anything less than what I just described, it’s because they aren’t your soul mate. You need to ditch them ASAP because your soul mate is right around the corner!

This is what mass media portrays to the average person, through social engineering via mass media. Granted, I took some liberties to exaggerate certain points, but the way we tend to act in relationships agrees with these characteristics of a romantic soul mate.

Anyone who’s been in a relationship longer than a few months, wherein true connection and soul growth was occurring, knows that the above is completely unrealistic.

Looking through the archives of relationship history, as compiled by historians, psychologists, dating coaches, and radio show call-ins (which, by the way, I review because answering the question of what ideal love is has been of vital importance), one thing becomes abundantly clear.

The above concept of a soul mate is a total myth.

The sheer reality of life is that, while sometimes people do things for you without you having to ask, no one is telepathic and no one should be expected to know your needs and meet them without communication. Expecting them to do so sets an impossible standard, making you feel persistently disappointed as you drive your partner insane trying to meet this irrational ideal.

Looking to common sense, resting on accumulated records of relationship dynamics and the problems they face, coaches report that if your partner isn’t meeting your needs its because either they refuse to do so (antagonism, a wellness issue) or they don’t know how because you haven’t told them (lack of clear communication on your part) or they aren’t sure how to do meet the need, once it’s been presented. For the most part, we generally want to meet our parter’s needs, albeit in a mutually beneficial way. It can be incredibly damaging to the other person why they try with all their might but they just can’t seem to make you happy. In short, this isn’t good for either party.

If we use another situation, like playing with other musicians or working with your colleagues at your job, would it make sense to think they will know automatically how to act for group success? Is it reasonable to assume your co-worker is going to know you’ll be late for work and come in early to cover you? Would your boss expect you to do well without training? Of course not. But in the realm of romance, all sorts of unrealistic ways of thinking seem to guide our lives. And, if you’re like most, you’ve never thought all that much about what you expect of your partner, taking the time to decide whether it’s reasonable or not.

But no more. It’s time to slaughter these sacred cows once and for all.

As one who cares deeply about my fellow humans, it pains me to watch people suffer so much in relationships. It can be a bitter pill to swallow but it’s one you’ll be so much happier with once you’ve come to terms with the truth and grieved the loss of this false ideal.

I admire Botton because he delivers the truth in a fun and captivating way, which makes you laugh at yourself for thinking these things are true. Don’t be too ashamed. We’ve all be duped into thinking like this to a certain extent.

We live in a world with pervasive social engineering and subtle influences. Most of the beliefs we have about romance come from times where we weren’t thinking critically, like watching how our parents interacted as children or zoning out in front of the TV watching a romance in a movie. These influences shape our views of what we think we should be doing in relationships.

As Botton outlines, the truth about these false ideals will set us free, but first, we have to allow ourselves to morn.

Psychologically, we are creatures that need to know how to act. When you tell someone their playbook is wrong and that it’s causing them problems, that is a good start, but we need something to replace it with. Thus, I would suggest, as you review this material, allow yourself the time to think about what it means to you. Go through the exercise of thinking of new ways to express your needs, founded on ideals that are in harmony with reality. In short, strive for ideals but be realistic so that you can replace bad ones with good ones.

In closing, the key to a successful relationship, which is a piece of wisdom shared by a great many throughout history, is communication. Unless you’ve made it clear what you want and work through that negotiation with another carefully, it’s not likely you’ll be satisfied.

In this way, one replaces the false idea that a relationship is perfect at the start with the truer idea that relationships become more perfect with dedicated effort, investment, and a willingness to improve and refine your thinking.

OPINION: MIT Scientists Extremely Skeptical of Elon Musk’s Creepy “Neuroscience Theater” Neuralink Chip

EDITORS NOTE: As always, this opinion does not necessarily reflect the beliefs of the Underground Newswire, but it is important to know what others are thinking and saying.

September 01, 2020

When Elon Musk presented his creepy Neuralink brain implant in a streamed product update on YouTube on Friday, he said he believed that billions of people will be clamoring for it – but real scientists have expressed serious skepticism.

The stated goal of Neuralink is to “implant wireless brain-computer interfaces that include thousands of electrodes in the most complex human organ to help cure neurological conditions like Alzheimer’s, dementia and spinal cord injuries and ultimately fuse humankind with artificial intelligence.”

Other issues it claims to address include seizures, extreme pain, addiction, insomnia, strokes and brain damage.

Musk presented a pig named Gertrude who he claims has had a Neuralink computer chip in her brain for the last two months. Musk said the coin-sized chip was like “a Fitbit in your skull with tiny wires” and would connect to a person’s phone over Bluetooth to be charged wirelessly overnight.

In a critique published in MIT Technology Review, scientists from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology were quick to point out the absurdity of the entire spectacle, calling it “neuroscience theater.” They said that promises like being able to see radar with superhuman vision, playing symphonies in your head, and healing deafness, blindness, mental illness and paralysis are going to be difficult to keep.

The article says that none of the advances mentioned are even close to becoming a reality, and some are extremely unlikely to happen. They also called Musk out for his noncommittal language and lack of firm timelines. They even shrugged off the pig demonstration, saying that it was decades-old technology that some researchers have been using for years.

They also showed that Musk isn’t quite as innovative as he might think, pointing out that researchers have been putting probes in paralyzed people’s brains since the 1990s to show how signals can allow them to move robotic arms or cursors on counters.

In addition, the MIT researchers took issue with the fact that Neuralink and Musk haven’t committed to any of the potential medical applications they touted. They did not disclose any plans to carry out clinical trials, which many believed would be the next logical step. They added that it’s not clear just how serious they are about treating diseases. That’s unfortunate because the presentation has already given some people who are desperate to find solutions to their ailments a degree of false hope.

Robots will perform surgery to implant the chips in people’s brains

Neuralink is working on a robot that will carry out the entire surgical installation process, which entails opening up a person’s scalp, removing a part of their skull, inserting the computer chip and thread electrodes, and then closing the incision. It will somehow be able to dodge blood vessels to prevent bleeding, they claim.

The criticism from the experts at MIT comes not long after the medical industry news website Stat exposed serious turmoil within Neuralink. In the piece, five former employees described a “chaotic internal culture” and an environment akin to a “pressure cooker.”

They recounted how a strong push to move the technology forward led to failures in animal experiments, with one former worker saying that the company moved from rodent experiments into those with primates quicker than one would expect in medical science.

Even if Neuralink is ultimately able to help alleviate some of the health concerns they claim they can address, getting people on board will be another big hurdle. Who would be willing to have a robot drill a hole into their head to remove part of their skull and place a chip inside their brain?

Besides the risk of infection and the potential need for follow-up surgeries to adjust the positioning of the electrodes or install newer versions of the chips, the long-term effects are very much unknown and could be catastrophic. Needless to say, there’s also the potential for hackers to cause serious harm. And when the person behind all this is someone as erratic and untrustworthy as Elon Musk, it’s hard to imagine anyone in their right mind will be signing up.

The Deeper Side of Universal Basic Income That’s Not Often Discussed

 Joe Martino
August 29, 2020

The topic of UBI has surfaced again as Germany gets ready to begin a trial with some of its citizens. Is there a deeper question behind UBI that isn’t often spoken about? A question that begins thinking outside of our current ideologies?

When most people think of universal basic income we go through the standard path of questioning: how would it work? How would it be paid for? Are we really losing jobs that fast that we need this? What happens if people don’t contribute to society? Does it create more government dependency? What ‘ism’ does this fall under?

All good questions, but perhaps ones that don’t truly look at some deeper thoughts behind UBI as a result of our current way of living. What do I mean by this? I go back to a statement Andrew Yang made in relation to why he was presenting UBI as part of his US presidential campaign:

“We could get the boot off of everyone’s throats just like that. And we have to do it, because we’re in the midst of this historic transformation of our economy that is pushing more and more of us to the sideline.”

Before we get more into Yang, we did a segment of The Takeaway where we spoke about the deeper side of UBI. You can watch it below. I’ll continue exploring the subject in writing below the video as well.

Essentially, Yang is saying that he feels too many people are struggling to do even the basics, even when they have multiple jobs, and thus they can’t even think about exploring taking a breath, doing something they love or are interested in simply because they are always just trying to survive. Of course, some people will say, “go get educated and get a better job” as if education is the path to money. This is merely an illusion as our current economic system not only MUST create economic classes by design, but there must always be those who struggle. Constant growth is a must, and so companies are driven to do things more inexpensively year after year, replacing human jobs with automated jobs. Innovation is driven by the need to make things cheaper so companies can survive, thus pushing people out of work.

This seems like a ‘bad’ thing as people won’t have money to survive, but when you think about it in another way, we’ve found ways to have innovation take over having to spend our lives working. The only thing holding us back at this point is an outdated economic system that does not align with the technological advancement our minds have created.

UBI brings up a deep question: in people’s hearts, why is this idea attractive to them? What is the potential deeper inspiration?

Sure, you can choose to gawk at and judge people, saying they are ‘lazy’ or ‘commies’, but I challenge you to open your mind and go deeper. Is it possible that what we’re really asking for behind UBI is not so much getting free money, but that we’re tired of our current ways of living? We’re ready to live a life we know is possible, where we can thrive as a society without having to slave 40 hours a week to make ends meet? Perhaps people are feeling that a radical shift in the way we live is possible, but is being held back by our ideologies and systems built out of them. Maybe the discussion of UBI is really pushing us to re-imagine our entire system?

Like I mentioned above, we had this discussion openly in a segment of The Takeaway. The intention is not to go over all the existing studies and literature on the topic, but more so to appeal to a greater sense of engagement asking how YOU feel.

Watch the segment here.

From cosmetics and medicines to toothpaste, packaging, food, and fuel, seaweed seemingly offers a solution for a vast array of items.

A fast-growing algae, seaweed uses energy from sunlight while absorbing nutrients and carbon dioxide from the seawater. Scientists also believe it could help fight global warming.

Seaweed production has according to the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization grown exponentially this century, with volume doubling between 2005 and 2015. More than 30 million tons are being processed annually and the market is now worth over $6bn.

Seaweed is most often used in human food. However, cosmetics, medicines, toothpaste, and pet food often contain hydrocolloids derived from the plant, due to its gel-like nature.

Other seaweed products are being worked on, including biodegradable packaging, water capsules, drinking straws, textile and plastic alternatives.

Ocean Rainforest from the Faroe Islands is one of several seaweed companies that have sprung up in Europe in recent times. However, the vast majority of commercial harvesting happens in Asia.

The labor-intensive process of harvesting is one reason it has been slow to catch on in Europe and America. Mechanization and up-scaling are still needed for the west to make it a viable business.

Farming systems are also difficult to set up and there is usually no set formula; conditions for farming tend to be unique to the local area.

However, progress is certainly being made.

Ocean Rainforest, who harvest their crop naturally in the ocean, recently received funding from the US Department of Energy. They want the company to build a similar system in California – with the potential to produce biofuel.

Other companies are growing seaweed in on-shore ponds and tanks. For one thing, this enables the producers to more easily regulate the climate and conditions.

One example of an inland farm is AlgaPlus in Portugal. Canada and South Africa also have inland farms.

There is still some way to go before seaweed becomes a viable option for producing fuel and some of the other uses being researched. But then again, technologies such as solar and wind energy were also once too costly to be realistic solutions.

The Metaphysics of Politics & The Manipulation of Human Consciousness

 Arjun Walia
August 16th, 2020

CE founder Joe MartinoDulce Ruby and I have decided to sit down once a week and have a conversation about various topics, sharing our thoughts and how each of us are feeling. In our latest episode we decided to talk about the metaphysics of politics and how it effects our psyche.

All three of us have gone down the rabbit hole when it comes to big politics. For me, I was first introduced to deception within politics through examining various topics, one of the first being ‘false flag terrorism’ as well as the strong connections that governments have with mainstream media outlets. When I came across a declassified document that states that the CIA task force “now has relationships with reporters from every major wire service, newspaper, news weekly, and television network in the nation,” and that “this has helped us turn some ‘intelligence failure’ stories into ‘intelligence success” stories,’” I really started looking into it more and realized this is still happening.

The information I was coming across even corroborated with multiple award winning journalists.

I eventually came to the conclusion that the prime purpose of big politics and big media (which go hand in hand) is simply to manipulate human consciousness and shape our perception of major events which allows these powerful people to justify actions they like to take, usually to gain even more control over the human race. I found out that the ones who propose the solution to global issues are usually the ones creating these problems as well, intentionally in order to justify the actions they like to take under the guise of good will. Julian Assange exposed much of this, along with other war crimes and immoral/unethical actions of governments and big corporations. Why is he in jail facing 175 years?

In the second half of the episode we talk about genetically modified mosquitoes, because the US Environmental Protection Agency just approved the release of nearly one billion GM mosquitoes in Florida and Texas. To access the second part, you can sign up for your free trial at CETV. It’s a platform we created to allow us to continue doing our work. As a result of a massive amount of censorship and demonetization from social media platforms and Google, its the only way we can try to stay alive and do what we do. Thank you for your support!

Re-Designing CommUNITY, The-Co-Creation of The New Earth Village

Collective Evolution
August 13, 2020

In this colourful time where humans are given the choice to evolve or stay the same, I am in humble ceremony and celebration for all that is unfolding. I use it as a stepping stone into TRUTH. I choose to see it as all serving personal and collective ascension, rather than labelling it as chaos, good/bad, right/wrong, and the path to a paralyzing apocalypse. I strive to lead my life with flow, and have been practising non-resistance, non-attachment, and non-judgment when stories and limited belief systems come knocking on my door.

I have held a sacred vision since I was young. A oneness commUNITY of the New Earth. A farm and forest “school” that has returned to the wisdom tradition. A shared living and learning eco-village holding space for both children and adults to connect, be curious, grow with awe, wonder, love and oneness consciousness. I see vast acreage with rolling hills, a farm and a forest, glass domes offering space for workshops, dancing, art creation, singing, gardening, drumming, woodworking, and yoga. Eco-spiritual beekeeping, herbalism, plant and spirit medicine live here. It is a space where children are raised together, a birthing hut is made to free birth in, biodynamic farming thrives, sacred ceremony to honour and celebrate our daughters’ first moon cycle, and space for boys and men to collaborate and share is created. This is a spot to land, where we return hOMe. I am in joy to know that others share the same vision. I am spearheading the gathering of souls who meet weekly to co-create this school and eco-village somewhere surrounding the Greater Toronto Area! I am so thankful and blessed to know and learn from each of these families.

I’m an educator in Ontario, and I’m grateful for my dance with the system. Truthfully, I could never squeeze my square-pegged Self in the system’s round holes, even with all of my teacher training. I have felt the fragmentation over the freedom. My children are age 7 and 2. I always knew that I would homeschool if I chose to be a mother. I feel so guided and blessed to have chosen homeschooling during all of their formative years. Our homeschooling days are comprised of wandering the woods with friends, learning the art of homesteading on our farm, self-sufficiency and minimalist living, reading, singing, dancing together, trusting intuition, growing food and learning to preserve it, studying with elders, making mud cakes, and breathing deeply together.

My offerings to the homeschool community in my seven short years of homeschooling are based on a passion for community development. I’ve hosted a weekly forest playgroup for three years. I’ve facilitated seasonal parent meetings to co-create homeschool cooperatives. It was beautiful to see parents to come together and offer their skills and experience to teach and guide their children, and so awe-inspiring to see sub groups form. I’ve organized adventurous field trips, and invited the remembrance of Self through holding space for women during monthly circles. In all of this, I’ve realized one simple thing. Everyone needs the freedom to play. The chance to connect, to embody love, to be seen, heard, and understood.

I’m hearing about the schools re-opening plan. In addition to polarity and judgment, I’m seeing the confusion and unsettlement on social media. The puzzle pieces are coming together. I see everything outside reflected within me, and I’m invited to transmute lower frequencies and an old way of life to zero point neutrality. We may feel we don’t have a choice, but there are so many pathways Source is offering us at this time to grow and advance. What is the plan for our children this year? Will they flourish in active co-creation of their educational experience, one filled with play, wonder, freedom, and awe? Or will they wilt because of a fear based environment, one that supports an old belief system that we must maximize safety, boundaries, and protection. It isn’t easy for the parent who must work, for the caregiver who chooses the remote school option, for the parent who agrees to homeschool. Out of the options available to everyone, I trust we will make informed choices, choosing that which resonates in our hearts, and not because of fear.

When was school introduced and why? What was the purpose of the institution? Can we carry our school system into the new world? Are we over-schooled and overloaded with unnecessary information? What really matters for humanity’s empowerment and expansion? Do institutions and workplaces embody Unity and Unconditional Love? Do they allow for expression of True Self, alignment with the wisdom tradition of the Universe? If we did away with money, the program that we need to get a job to earn money to survive, be successful, thrive in life, would we still send our children to school? Do we need to play with such systems anymore? How can we adjust the environments in our life to feel more natural?

If we are serious about moving toward a conscious, loving, harmonious, peaceful and ecologically sustainable future, even greater collapse needs to happen and I believe we are on track for that. Our children are not our projects, the cogs in the assembly line. We will clearly see the social experiment that is the classroom, with concrete walls and on concrete playgrounds now with muzzles and shields and tape on the floor that directs us like prisoners. Power. Jurisdiction. Separation. All under the program of perceived safety and protection, belief systems that keep us small and confined.

We’re being ushered into a commUNITY of LOVE and oneness and many don’t even realize they signed up for this because they are still holding onto the OLD. Everyone wants true CHANGE, but have we tapped into the unlimited courage that allows us to be the change agents? We may expand our life experience and open up our potential to freedom and empowerment. And together in global flux, we are invited to be a part of the dismantling to co-create a loving, empowering, and evolving experience. Our world requires active co-creators and leaders who do the inner work and are connected to their True Essence, so that decisions and changes are made from the inside out, all of which uplifts and nurtures our planet.

I’m birthing this beautiful baby right now, choosing not to participate in the mainstream narrative and rule; and so co-creating The New Earth Village is an initiative near and dear to my heart, and one that is so much bigger than I am. It is the creation of a oneness community for us to create flourishing and harmony. The space will be free from hierarchy, competition, fragmentation, and separation. It’s a place full of peace, whereby we care and live and learn together in a loving and equal way, because we recognize we are ONE. Ego is on the back seat, as we lead from HEART-CENTRE.

Our intention is to gain support as we share our visions and initiative. We are passionate about connecting with other souls whose dream is to also create and support a oneness community for the New Earth. If you are interested in offering support and/or collaborating with us on the creation of The New Earth Village, please join us!

Opinion: Can We Expect Peace Between Nations When Our Most Basic Relationships Fail?

Arjun Walia
August 6, 2020

To say that I’m sick of politics is like a chemo patient saying he feels under the weather. I’m dying here. I’ve pondered wearing earplugs to muffle the pundits. I’ve considered using Google glasses to program “Trump” and “Democrats” and “Republicans” out of my visual spectrum.

Because there’s one issue that must come before politics…

It’s marriage.

Our romantic relationships are the basic unit of civilization. Men and women have children and build families, which make up neighbourhoods, communities, cities, states, and nations. Basic logic, right?

And it takes civilized people to make a civilization. So how can we expect to have peaceful nations when our most basic relationships are downright crude? We have missions to Mars and particle colliders that are rumoured to open portals to new dimensions. But, when it comes to love… we’re dragging our knuckles on a flat Earth.

Our version of love is a cycle of insecurity

We can’t stand to be alone. But rather than learning to love our lives and find meaning alone, we place impossible standards for fulfillment on our lovers. We get a little security, and a lot of pleasure. But when the chemicals wear off, we’re left with the truth: We don’t know anything about our lovers.

And when we do get to know each other, we hate what we find. Then we split. But each split tears a thread in the fabric of our society, because family is our foundation.

We can thrust ourselves into heady political conversations, and pretend that our red (or blue) rage is going to build a better world. But those political solutions aren’t addressing the root cause of our pain. We just need to fix how we love first.

Foundations of love

Foundations are, well, foundational to success. So we pave them for our houses, we practice scales before learning a difficult piece of music, and we learn the fundamentals of math before going on to algebra and calculus. We know that we need a strong foundation for successful relationships, too. But who actually takes the time to build one?

Loving responsibly is hard. It seems outdated or religiously nonsensical by today’s standards (getting to know someone inside and out before you take them to bed?), but if you don’t have a strong foundation, you’ve got a house of cards. Just like every one of my previous relationships.

From age 12 I trained myself to objectify women by watching porn. And until my early twenties, I was more concerned about my next sexual fix than my career. I hooked up with girlfriends not because I wanted to love them with all my heart, but because they were my key to security and satisfaction — which I got, for a time. But the net result was an increasingly lonely, unfulfilled, and depressed version of me.

By the end of my last relationship, I seriously considered taking my own life. What was I doing wrong? After picking up reflective habits like journaling and meditation, I figured it out.

I wasn’t fulfilled alone. I was bored alone. And I was unsuccessful alone. But in my mind, relationships were magical things that would wash all the bad stuff away and make me happy — kind of like a drug. In reality, for each desire that I lacked on my own, like joy, or security, I was strangling my relationships with conditions.

I’d “love” a girl until I was no longer joyful with her, or until she bored me. Then, for each condition that she failed to meet — no one can be perfect 100% of the time — I withdrew my love from her, bit by bit. The withdrawals happened on her side, too.

By the end of my relationships, whether they were six-month flings or two-year engagements, the end was predictably uncivil. We abused each other with our language. We cheated on each other, and betrayed each other’s trust. We blamed each other on and on for what the other had failed to do. Almost sounds like our relationships with other countries…

But the real failure was in choosing each other as romantic partners. It was in pursuing love without getting to know each other’s values and character traits first — before we built a foundation. We gambled on placing our faith in each other. And, like most people, we lost. Big time.

Rather than castrating myself, or settling for an endless string of heartaches — somebody shoot me — I worked on the foundation of my next relationship. I worked on me.

I learned to lean into my insecurity

Instead of running for another girl when I got lonely, I leaned into my insecurity and learned more about me. I developed a prayer life and a relationship with God. And I stuck to my new habits of journaling and meditation.

Through mindfulness, I channeled my sexual desire into my goals and self improvement. I felt the urge to ogle gorgeous women, of course, and at 27, their beauty moves me now more than ever. But I trained myself to move in a positive direction, to express healthy emotions at a woman’s beauty — like gratitude, inspiration, and awe — instead of imagining how she could please me.

Then I took it a step further.

I disciplined myself to think of a woman’s future husband. Would he respect me for the way I was thinking about her? And then I’d think of my future wife. If I couldn’t expect myself to view other wives with dignity and respect, how could I expect that of other men in looking at mine?

In my new way of thinking, I shed my selfish ways and became a man — and a neighbour, and a lover. A year into the habit I became independent for the first time in my life. I discovered my writing career and found success in it. And I became a role model for other people.

My dramatic life change happened because I figured out how to harness my sexual desire in an uplifting way. And in learning how to love civilly, I became a functioning part of civilization. *But people still call me out for not voting…

How you can love civilly

The way we think about each other determines how we act: civil, or uncivil. So you’ve got to train yourself to think respectful and positive thoughts — especially when it comes to beautiful men and women.

No matter how much we hope, the magical love chemicals can’t erase reality: We either love each other with respect, or we don’t. And if we don’t, our relationships will degrade, and our families will degrade. And as our broken relationships pick up steam down the social gradient, our communities degrade, and our cities degrade. And if the cycle of uncivil romance continues, states and nations will degrade as well. It’s basic logic.

So, you can talk about what these morons in office are doing to feel important and keep you occupied… or you can do something that actually makes a difference. You can learn to love like a human-fucking-being. Pardon my crude language.

Learn to love for the long term. Build faith in yourself. Quit porn and casual sex. Become so joyful and inspired by your own life that you couldn’t imagine expecting anyone else to be responsible for your happiness. Channel your sexual desire into your highest self. Use those urges to remind yourself of the things you haven’t done yet to become the person you want to be. Direct that energy into a future you would admire, and a person you’d be proud of.

And when you’ve changed the way you live and think, you’ll change the way you love. You’ll love civilly.

By your example, you’ll inspire others to take the harder path and to love civilly themselves. And when enough people do that… I won’t ever have to hear another political pundit for as long as I shall live. And I’ll thank you.

The Silent War – Gen. Flynn: This Is My Letter to America

EDITORS NOTE: Michael Thomas Flynn (born December 24, 1958) is a retired United States Army lieutenant general who was the 24th National Security Advisor for the first 22 days of the Trump administration until his forced resignation. He served as the 18th Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency under Obama, from July 2012 until his forced retirement from the military in August 2014. Journalist Sara Carter has repeatedly stated on-air that Flynn “Knows where the bodies are buried”, an idiom often used to describe someone who has personal knowledge of the secrets or confidential affairs of an organisation or individual.
After his forced resignation, he continued to work in the field of intelligence gathering, many believing that he is part of a covert operation by defectors within the military (actual patriots) who have been planning a take over/cleansing of the Pentagon, DIA, FBI, and possibly the complete dissolution of the CIA, not to mention ceasing the endless wars in the middle east which we are seeing right now despite Deep-State proxy armies being activated to try and instigate WWIII.
The personal spiritual nature of his letter might be a turn off to some, I’d only ask that you think of what it has been like for a man in his position. Think like an Omnist, imagine that all spirituality is important, not in terms of which spirituality is right or wrong, but as systems of self governance. It is often when religion becomes organized and manipulated over centuries to fit powerful peoples agendas that they become the twisted distortions many view modern religion as, particularly Christianity, Judaism, Islam, and Hinduism. People turn them to hideous inversions of the original messages of love and peace.
Without becoming an evangelist, I’d suggest that we are all spiritual beings in nature no matter what user manual you subscribe to or even if you have invented your own, whatever suits your consciousness. It seems as if this aspect of our lives is being removed by the establishment and pop culture leaving a void where Hedonism, Sabbateanism, Nihilism and apathy can flourish.

We are witnessing a vicious assault by enemies of all that is good, and our president is having to act in ways unprecedented in decades, maybe centuries.

The biblical nature of good versus evil cannot be discounted as we examine what is happening on the streets of America.

It’s Marxism in the form of antifa and the Black Lives Matter movement versus our very capable and very underappreciated law enforcement professionals, the vast majority of whom are fighting to provide us safe and secure homes, streets and communities.

When the destiny of the United States is at stake, and it is, the very future of the entire world is threatened.

As Christians, shouldn’t we act? We recognize that divine Providence is the ultimate judge of our destiny. Achieving our destiny as a freedom-loving nation, Providence compels us to do our part in our communities.

It encourages us in this battle against the forces of evil to face our fears head-on. No enemy on earth is stronger than the united forces of God-fearing, freedom-loving people.

We can no longer pretend that these dark forces are going to go away by mere prayer alone. Prayers matter, but action is required.

This action is needed at the local, state and federal levels. Action is also required in the economic, media, clerical and ecclesiastical realms.

Decide how you can act within your abilities. Stand up and state your beliefs. Be proud of who you are and what you stand for. And face, head-on, those community “leaders” who are willing to allow dark forces to go beyond peaceful protests and destroy and violate your safety and security.

Churches and houses of worship must return to normal. We invite everyone of goodwill to not shirk their responsibilities and instead act in a fraternal fashion. If for no other reason or with no other ability, act in a spirit of charity.

We cannot disrespect or disregard natural law along with our own religious liberties and freedoms.

I am witnessing elderly people lose their connection to all that is good in their lives: connections to their faith, their families and their individual freedoms, especially the simple act of attending church, something they’ve been doing for decades.

Let us not be intimidated or fear those who cry out that we are in the minority; we are not.

Good is always more powerful and will prevail over evil.

However, evil will succeed for a time when good people are divided from each other and their personal lives — children away from their teachers, preachers from their congregations, customers from their local businesses.

America will never give in to evil. Americans work together to solve problems.

We do not and should not ever allow anarchy and the evil forces behind it to operate on any street in our nation.

No one should have to fear for their very life because some dark, disturbed force is challenged by the very essence of what America stands for.

We are “one nation under God” and it is our individual liberties that make us strong, not liberties given to our government. Our government has no liberty unless and until “we the people” say so.

God bless America and let’s stand by everything that was and is good in our lives, in our communities and in our country.

Otherwise, America as the true North Star for humanity will cease to exist as we know it.

Ricky Gervais Tells Hollywood To ‘Stop F***Ing Kids’ In A Recent Tweet

Staff Writer (Humans are Free)

Celebrities with millions upon millions of followers have always been “handled” (in one way or another). Anybody with such an audience that can have a huge influence on the minds of the masses represents a threat to many.

Some celebrities get more attention than the mainstream media, and many times, it appears they are used for corporate, political, and other agendas.

They are given fame and fortune, made out to be gods and idols in the eyes of many, and in return for what they receive they usually have to abide by some rules, not all of them I imagine, but some of them.

Ricky Gervais Hollywood Stop Fucking Children

Many of them, in my opinion, are heavily controlled and basically represent a walking corporation.

For a celebrity to go against the grain and bring awareness to something that threatens powerful interests, they can literally be risking their lives as well as their career.

Again, this is all speculation on my part, but it comes from years of observation and looking into issues that need our attention, like child sex trafficking and abuse, which seems to be running rampant in Hollywood.

Ricky Gervais recently tweeted the following:

Ricky Gervais Tweet Hollywood, Stop Fucking Children

There are multiple examples of “Hollywood” being implicated in this type of activity. For example, Smallville actress Allison Mack was ‘outed’ for being a member of a sex cult and working in a management capacity.

Apparently, Mack’s job was to lure women into the program under the false pretence of female empowerment and self-help workshops.

It was the NXIVM case.

Billionaire Clare Bronfman was indicted on racketeering charges pertaining to the case. These charges were connected to her role as “Operations Director” for NXIVM.

Clare Bronfman is the daughter of Charles Bronfman, a Canadian/American businessman and philanthropist. A very powerful person.

Just like with the Epstein case, the Clinton’s are mentioned with regards to NXIVM as well.

The Rolling Stone reported:

“There are strange political connections as well. Mark Vicente, a documentary filmmaker and former high-ranking member of the group, testified at the trial of NXIVM head Keith Raniere that Clare Bronfman, the billionaire Seagram’s heiress and alleged benefactor of the organization, approached him and a few other members of the group to help her make a contribution to a Clinton campaign.” (source)

As many of you know, many ‘big names’ have been implicated in this type of thing, and right now awareness is exploding. The list is long, and it’s a big topic. I recently wrote two articles that goes in a little deeper and provides more examples beyond just Hollywood.

Why This Matters: The main reason we are writing so much about this and following at the moment is to bring attention to our interview with Anneke Lucas, who is is an author, speaker, advocate for child sex trafficking victims, founder of the non-profit organization Liberation Prison Yoga, and creator of the Unconditional Model.

Her work is based on personal experience of a 30-year healing journey after surviving being sold by her family as a child sex slave to an elite level pedophile network.

The interview is deep, and goes into the consciousness aspect of her experience and why that aspect is so important.

The Takeaway

At the end of the day, we must ask ourselves how is our world really operating? Are decisions at high levels being made by those who are involved in, and help run elite level pedophile networks?

If so, is it a surprise that our world has been plagued by war, environmental degradation, pollution, health issues an more? Is our world a reflection of the ‘leaders’ we choose to make decisions for us? Would it be better if we just made decisions for ourselves?

Child sex trafficking is one of many areas that shines a light into the world of those who who chose to and let govern us.

At the end of the day, our system is a result and product of us, the human collective and we can change it any time. We are capable of so much more and have unlimited potential to create a world where everybody can thrive.

Discussion About Dr. Fauci Telling People To Wear Goggles To Protect Against COVID-19

JoeRuby and I recently sat down for our weekly show, “The Takeaway” to discuss Dr. Anthony Fauci’s recent recommendation that all people should be wearing goggles as well as a mask in order to protect themselves against COVID-19. As most of you reading this will know, mask mandates in public settings have caused quite a controversy, especially in Canada and in the United States. Well known and reputable doctors and scientists seem to be the catalyst, having brought a lot of attention to themselves by sharing their expert opinions and research. Today, however, we are living in a very different environment as information that contradicts what’s told to us by our federal health regulatory agencies is now deleted, blocked, and censored from social media platforms and Google searchers.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, based on what I have been seeing and from our own experience here at Collective Evolution, we are living in a time where a digital authoritarian Orwellian fact-checker is patrolling the internet and censoring information, deeming it as “false” when in many cases, the information doesn’t appear to be false at all. Don’t get me wrong, there is plenty of “fake news” out there, but should people not have the right to examine information and determine for themselves what is, and what isn’t instead of having someone else do it for them?

In the episode below we share our opinions and talk about where we see things going within the next few months. It’s a two part episode, in the second part we talk about an interesting document within the CIA’s electronic reading dealing with the affect human intention can have on physical material systems. If you’re interested in that, you can access it on CETV, here.  CETV is a platform we created to combat the censorship we are currently experiencing, as many  of you probably already know of by now.
